Subject: Our experience on board the MSC Fantasia cruise ship.   Embarkation in Genoa (Italy) on November 2, 2019, disembarkation November 20   2019 in Santos (Brazil). On November 2, 2019 we flew with the KLM to Milan. That went well. Then we drove a shuttle bus to Genoa, a journey of more than 2 hours. We had a cup of coffee on the plane around 10 a.m. and then nothing more. We ...

Cruised for the first time with MSC aboard Fantasia in November 2019, we embarked in Genoa, doing a few places in Europe then went across to Brazil. We have cruised with other companies many times and have never experienced anything as bad. At the airport - MSC representative was waiting at the airport for us - but there was no transport for us and had to wait 45 minutes for it arrive. ...

Cruise of a lifetime!

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Fantasia

This was the best itinerary for the time of the year for us. The best part was unpacking once, and our floating 5 Star Hotel followed us around the Mediterranean as we departed Genoa, and visited the most amazing places, including Marseilles. Barcelona, Malta, Crete, Corfu Greece and Rome! The food, was consistently excellent; and I certainly recommend the option of having your breakfast ...

We chose this particular cruise as it was the one that best suited our time frame. Not too short but just long enough to get what was needed. We planned a two day hotel stay beforehand in Barcelona (this turned out to be one day due to flight cancellation). That being said we found a little gem of a hotel (Wilson's boutique hotel). The hotel was great, shaped like the Flatiron building in NYC. ...

Never Cruise with MSC Again

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Fantasia

I've done a few cruises but this was the worse. I paid for a balcony cabin but when we arrived at our cabin it was a waste of money. We were in 10024 which didn't have glass railings but steel so when you sat in the tiny space all you saw was sky. The sliding door didn't lock and there was a noise as the wind whipped by. It took them 3 days to fix the door. I asked if we could change cabins as we ...

We arrived at the ship at the designated boarding time of 2pm and were given a sheet of paper that informed us that we could now board the ship at 11:30am. Fantastic but no-one from MSC contacted me on the cell/mobile phone number I provided them with when I booked the cruise. Great start. Everything went reasonably smoothly with dropping of our bags getting in line to sign in and be given our ...

WORST CRUISE EVER - PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on MSC Fantasia

My partner & I booked our first cruise with MSC departing Genoa and have been extremely disappointed & let down by the whole experiance & the following complaints will expalin why. 1. The ship itself is fine, well laid out with comparable size balcony rooms to other cruise lines and the cleanliness was good. With a few exeptions (namely Simone Pelser bar staff) the staff appeared a bit distant & ...

Fantastic Fantasia Cruise

We boarded the Fantasia in Genoa, having flown to Milan from the UK. The transfer provided by MSC from Milan to Genoa was superb. Just 6 of us in a very comfortable minivan. Boarding was very smooth and organised and we were able to go straight to our cabin before having some late lunch in the Zanzibar Buffet. The cruise itself was very enjoyable with very few niggles. The main gripe was the ...
