We chose MSC and this particular cruise because the itinerary Ports of call, suited the half term break for the UK Schools, we booked an Air Cruise, so MSC booked our flights on British Airways, the downside of this, is our flights were booked on a group ticket, therefore, you cannot check in independently on BA website, on day of departure, early morning flight from LHR, we got shunted around ...

booked this cruise online with iglu travel looked good liked the itinerary but should have taken more notice of some of the reviews ,booked outside with balcony, shower+wc very small, food very very average but service was ok, excursions expensive ,found the crew helpful but mostly poor English, theatre entertainment was good but deck entertainment consisted of a deck game and teaching people ...

We chose this cruise as it suited our dates and the destinations sounded nice, Marseilles, Mallorca, Ibiza, etc. Genoa was our embarkation point. We arrived late and stressed due to a flight delay at Stansted airport. Our group was all English speaking, two adults and two teenagers. This was my first cruise and we booked in March for July. There were no balcony cabins left so we opted for a cabin ...

We picked this cruise on itinerary. When we got on board we felt like we were on a cruise in 1975. The ship was very very dated and drab. The staff were very unfriendly and were tired and pretty grumpy. There were some Balinese staff that were nice. We were shocked each time at port returning to the ship we couldn't even get a hello or smile from the staff. The ramp up to the ship was very old ...

This cruise was chosen purely for the itinerary,it was the only one with any cruise line that called at the ports that we wanted. We had cruised with MSC before and we said then NEVER AGAIN but relented due to the the places visited. This time it is definitely NEVER AGAIN. The crew were helpful and attentive but at busy times the numbers of waiters and bar staff was totally inadequate. The ...

Being a mainly European Ship, very few English speaking people on board. We did not find this a problem. We were seated in the dining rooms with other English speaking passengers. All Announcements are made in 6 languages, you learn to tune out to the non English announcements. Entertainment is always visual rather than spoken. Food was very good. We chose this cruise for its ports, we had also ...

We chose this cruise because it covered the ports that we wanted to see around the Med, unfortunately there was too little offshore time in some ports, especially when we cleared immigration later than the published time, and we still embarked on time thus reducing onshore excursion time. The rest of the cruise was memorable for all the wrong reasons. The attitude of the staff in the dining room ...

Chose this cruise as I particularly wanted to sail into Valetta. Have sailed with MSC before. This time boarding took over 2 hours in Genoa. I met people who said they had taken 4. This meant the cabin was ready as soon as we boarded. I had booked a table for two at dinner and as always we were on a table for 8. This was an anniversary cruise and a rare opportunity for my wife and I to spend time ...

Very Disappointing Cruise

Stopping at places we wanted to see and the prices seemed okay. Embarkation went very smoothly. Cabins were clean and well looked after. Having said all that we were very disappointed with the food in both dining restaurants and buffet, very poor quality. 2nd sitting was far too late at 9.00 pm as were not finishing until around 10.30/10.45. Could have swapped but first sitting was too early ...

We gave MSC a second shot having previously sailed on Musica and not rated it highly BUT this cruise was cheap and went to some interesting ports. Flight from Gatwick with BA was brilliant, a quick and easy transfer from Genoa and we were soon aboard and exploring. Food was awful in buffet, the same choices each day- not much better in the Marco Polo main dining room where dishes were hit ...
