Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Prima

I loved my 11-night cruise (Oct. 31 - Nov. 11) on the Norwegian Prima. I usually cruise with Celebrity but I think the Prima out-Celebrities Celebrity. While the Prima venues are all small relative to the passenger capacity of the ship, if the ship is less than 75% full then with a few exceptions, it’s not a problem. PRO’s: Beautiful finishes and furnishings. Much more understated and ...

People from the freedom treated us like family. our server ricky at the chic restaurant has been perfect. we didn't miss a show. we dance a lot and we can tell that the cast on the ship were outstanding. jade and matthew the dancers are beautiful to see and pleasant to speak, there is a violin trio called accidental strings trio. we did many cruises and never we saw violin ...

Repositioning Cruise from Galveston to Port Canaveral

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

I ultimately chose this cruise due to it’s importance to the Carnival Repositioning of their fleet. It was also a unique sailing and a Carnival Journey Cruise. It helped that I had previous Carnival Cruise Friends already booked. The only negative I can submit is the MDR Service. On this particular 9/16 sailing, the late seating was taking 2.5 hours from seating to leaving. Not sure why that ...

Magical Cruise

While we love the Freedom and Carnival, this was the best cruise ever. It was our honeymoon, and not only were the staff great, the passengers were very friendly and helped make the cruise even better. Aruba, Curacoa, and Cartegena all wowed us more than expected - and our expectations were high. The shore excursions were great, but we would definitely take a cab to a specific beach next time in ...

We love Journey Cruises. The staff was excellent. We received royal treatment from Ramesh the Maitre'd. We attended our first "Chef's Table" - what an experience. The comics are improving. Really enjoyed the ballroom dancing classes. Our ports of call were excellent. The trip thru the new Panama Canal locks was interesting but it is better to go thru the entire locks. We would prefer that ...

First cruise and we are hooked !!! Went for our 30th wedding anniversary! We were nervous — for no reason ! We loved every single minute. The crew were beyond helpful, so friendly. The food was amazing !!! Loved the comedy show. And everyone’s favorite the newlywed game. I know I’m jumping around but as the thoughts come, I’m typing. We had a balcony and that was so relaxing to have our ...

Navigator July 19-July 26: (First time sailing on RCCL) 14 year old son and Dad arrived at Galveston Park-n-Cruise parking at 10:20 a.m. Walked across the street and gave luggage to porter. Got in line outside terminal at 10:30 a.m. As approached inside of terminal, far right line opened and walked directly to check-in counter. Completed check-in and went directly onto ship. Let me first start out by saying that this cruise was the prime example that Fancy doesn't always mean quality..... The Norwegian Jewel which is clearly not a new ship - exceeded our expectations by far! Let's start with the PROS: Crew: The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Whatever we needed - we got it. We loved the washy washy guitar man in the dining rooms!!!! FOOD: The ...

We booked this suite because we were sailing with our two daughters and their families (total of four adults and six children) and wanted to provide a private space where we could all hang out together. Unfortunately, one family didn't make the trip. My wife and I did enjoy the extra space provide by this quiet suite. It had a nice balcony, a living room, two vanity area, three large closets and a ...

My wife and I just came back from a 5 day cruise on Magic. We have been on 12 cruises from the Galveston and Houston ports and have enjoyed all of them. Two months ago we went on the Emerald Princess for 7 days. Emerald and Magic are in the same price range so I will give a comparison: Emerald goes from the Houston port .....this is a newer, better, and easier port to travel from.....advantage to ...
