Cozumel made it worth it!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

My husband and I celebrated 20 years of marriage, and I graduated with my Masters degree. We planned to go with another couple. Long story short, we ended up with an interior room instead of a balcony as our friends were in and were very disappointed. Even worse, we paid the same amount, and their room FAR outdid ours. I would never be ok with an interior cabin again. Our cabin was so small my ...

Royal Caribbean Has Gone Downhill Since Pandemic

RCCL is focusing all their attention on their new, huge ships, 6,000+ passengers. More money, less crew members, less food, less entertainment, less service. Everything extra cost, most a big cost. Nothing is given as an extra when you book a cruise, no free crew appreciation, no drink packages, no onboard credit but the prices are the same as other cruise lines that give you extras. This ...

Sailed April 3, 2011 on a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise - Roatan, Belize, Cozumel - on Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas. Traveling with a group of 8, including two young kids. Three cabins in the reservation; mine was ocean view cabin #3554 (which had a connecting door to #3552). This was my first cruise with RC and only my second cruise ever. (I believe this ship is about to relocate and ...

My husband and I booked an aft corner cabin a year before our cruise. This was my 6th cruise and my husband's 4th. We have both sailed on VOS one other time. There were no relatives or friends cruising with us. We drove down from the Waco area the night before the cruise and stayed at the Hilton Island Resort which is a nice place with free cruise parking and shuttle to the pier.We waited until ...

First let me start by explaining, that we have traveled with RCCL before and LOVED them, but this was Easter/Holy week apparently and RCCL kept it to themselves and didn't even tell their Crown and Anchor members that there would be over 1400 Mexican passengers on board and every year it is horrible and they know it!!!! Apparently it is about three weeks in April (so make yourselves be warned). So ...

Another Great Experience on the Voyager

Port of Galveston:This is our fifth cruise on Royal Caribbean, and our second on Voyager. While Galveston is a very convenient port for departure (about 8 hours drive for us) the port itself is fraught with aggravation. Why they cannot open a second entrance for the second terminal is beyond me.Embarkation: Once inside the terminal, the embarkation process can be frustrating, but we have ...

We took this cruise out of Galveston because my husband wanted to go on a poker cruise. The poker was great! They had tournaments everyday and he even won one of them plus there were games going all the time while cruising. We would book another poker cruise but not out of Galveston. It was too hard to get to. You have to fly into Houston and then take a shuttle. If you live in Texas, it wouldn't ...

This ship was beautiful. Embarkment took about 40 min. Every staff member was so accomodating and sweet. Our waiter, Bone was great. The main dining room has 3 floors and is beautiful. We ate lobster, ny strip, shrimp, lots of great stuff. The roller blading, ice skating, wall climbing, putt putt is all free and they provide you with what you need. Don't forget to pack socks and long pants for ...
