We are RCCL regulars, in the upper tier group and have been on Navigator a few times before. Have to say that this cruise was just not up to RCCL standards in several ways, the first being entertainment. The first song and dance show was awful from beginning to end. I have to say that I have never seen a bad show on RCCL, so this was a disappointing surprise for us. Then, the "adult" comic was a ...

We arrived a day early in Houston and stayed at Marriott Courtyard. Hotel is ok, nice thing is the Bistro, which allowed for a quick dinner and drink after the flight. Next day we took Island breeze shuttle to the port (really great service) and arrived at the ship early. We had no problem boarding. Lunch was available in the Windjammer, though I wish they would also open a dining room. The food ...

2-5 Cruises

Age 40s

My husband and I have been on 5 cruises before this cruise. All of them with Royal Caribbean. Each time we've gone we have had an amazing time! After years of promising out 5 children that we would take them we finally did it! We chose to cruise out of Galveston because we figured we could drive to Texas from Colorado and save ourselves the airfare. This made the expense of our family vacation ...

We left out of Galviston. The process went as smooth as silk getting on and off the ship. The best I have ever had. Now the issues on the first day. My luggage did not show up till 6:20 pm. The issue was I had dinner reservations at Chops at 6:30 with another couple. I got changed fast and tried to slow everything down to enjoy dinner. The waiter placed us at a table right by the window, great ...

Mid 40s no kids who booked this on a whim about 3 weeks out. first time on this class of ship. Embarkation: Galveston has a well deserved reputation for being a CRAPPY embarkation port. Booked Lighthouse parking( covered slots) . close enough to see the ship, very friendly and efficient staff who loaded our bags on the shuttle quickly and got us to Terminal 2 in no time at all. word of advice: ...

The cruise was wonderful; the weather cooperated. Embarkation (wheel chair assist) was the easiest it ever had been. ALL the servers on the ship were excellent. The restaurants and bars were good, although the main dining room offerings were bland and mass-produced tasting. All desserts there were gelatinous, even the cakes. The gym and spa were very clean and useable. Spin class was boring rather ...

First Time Cruiser

Age 60s

We cruised on the Navigator of the Seas on January 4th, the week after the New Year’s cruise. The ship is beautiful and very spacious. We had a Superior Ocean View (balcony) on Deck 6 that was very comfortable, cabin 6240. The crew is really friendly. We are Diamond Plus members, but we chose to visit the Diamond Lounge because of the friendly staff there, including the Concierge, Mahmoud ...

This was my third time on Navigator and 16th time on a Royal Caribbean ship. I found the ship to be in very good condition. The food was slightly different on the dinning room menus then I recalled, and everyone was happy. We traveled with my sister and her husband, both diamond members, and my son and his future wife. It was her first cruise. :) Of course it was great for us to see the cruise ...

Just completed sailing all 5 Voyager Class ships and we love them! You wouldn't believe me if I told you that we have booked them all just by chance and was not even looking for the Voyager Class when we booked the last 3 sailings with RCCL, it was pure luck and chance. Enjoyed the ship and the crew, loved eating at Chops Restaurant for a little special treatment. The Diamond Lounge service was ...

The Navigator worked well for my wife and I. We arrived early at the main entrance of the terminal and were provided two wheelchairs as soon as debarkation from the previous cruise was complete. Check-in and boarding were effortless; they brought us to deck 11 for lunch as we were early and cabin was not ready. After lunch we went up to deck 14 (Cosmopolitan Lounge) and watched the football ...
