We just got off the Navigator of the Seas. It was a beautiful boat. We have sailed the Freedom of the Seas and the Navigator was a bit smaller. That's not a bad thing, it just means you can get to where you are going quicker. It was easy to navigate, the Carnival Magic we took last yr, was not! The upgrades they did are nice. We were on this ship a couple of years ago on a Mediterranean cruise. It was a nice ship then and it is just as nice since the dry dock. My girlfriend and I had reservations across from the Johnson Space center at the Microtel hotel, some 40mins away from the port. A room there seemed a better cost effective option than anything on the island. So on Saturday April 18, we drove down from Arkansas. We have cruised out of Galveston many times and have always been very pleased with the ease of embarkation. This cruise was no different. Easy embarkation as well as disembarkation.
This was our first cruise on the NOS, but have sailed on sister ship Voyager OS. We love the design of the ship. Easy to get around. Promenade was always fun to stroll through and people watch.
