We just got off the Navigator of the Seas. It was a beautiful boat. We have sailed the Freedom of the Seas and the Navigator was a bit smaller. That's not a bad thing, it just means you can get to where you are going quicker. It was easy to navigate, the Carnival Magic we took last yr, was not! The upgrades they did are nice. The carpet, etc all new. The flow rider was fun, kids loved that and the ...
Just as a quick bit of background about who I am so you understand my perspective.
I'm a 27 year old adrenaline junky, foodie who loves sports and performance arts. Despite being what I would describe as a foodie, I'm also not a food snob (I am a coffee snob however) and enjoy comfort foods as well as fine dining.
With this being my first cruise I have no basis for comparison to years past ...
We were on this ship a couple of years ago on a Mediterranean cruise. It was a nice ship then and it is just as nice since the dry dock. Some of the décor has been updated, but the original style of the ship seemed intact. The ice show was a new one and it was great. The previous one was one of our favorites, so it would have been nice to keep it, but maybe it will get transferred to one of ...
My girlfriend and I had reservations across from the Johnson Space center at the Microtel hotel, some 40mins away from the port. A room there seemed a better cost effective option than anything on the island. So on Saturday April 18, we drove down from Arkansas. The hotel was adequate for our overnight needs, and had no vacancies.
Day 1, Sunday, Departing Galveston, TX. : We ate breakfast at ...
We have cruised out of Galveston many times and have always been very pleased with the ease of embarkation. This cruise was no different. Easy embarkation as well as disembarkation.
This was our first cruise on the NOS, but have sailed on sister ship Voyager OS. We love the design of the ship. Easy to get around. Promenade was always fun to stroll through and people watch.
Can't say enough ...
I have to say, this was our best cruise ever. I think the main reason we had such a good time is due to planning, eliminating the things we knew we didn't like and slowing down to enjoy ourselves.
We were a little concerned at first because we were detained getting on the ship due to norovirus but once they let us on everything seemed to be fine. There was no line at the port when we got ...
Definately something for everyone in the family, so if you do not have an enjoyable time of the ship, it is your own fault! Western Caribbean Cruise was great with good weather all but a half day.
Dining Room staff and Room Steward were exceptional!! We had 'my time' dining on Deck 5 and buth Umesh and Rhoderick were wonderful:) Always steerred us to great choices when unsure of what to ...
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is a great Cruise line!! The ships are BEAUTIFUL! We love walking onto the ship, going to the room set down our carry-on bag and then exploring. Speaking of rooms, the cabins are not so special, (unless you get a suite) because the ship has activitys, you only sleep in the room! When my family and I go to the dining room, we feel like royalty! It has a HUMOUNGUS ...
Wonderful cruise and the service was amazing! We have cruised on RCCL, Carnival, Disney and MSC so we have some experience with the different cruise lines. We have two children age 11 and 9.
We were in cabin 3562 with an ocean view. It is on a quiet hallway towards a dead-end, so foot traffic was minimal. I could hear music from the theater sometimes, but by 10 p.m. everything was quiet. I ...
This was our family's 6th Royal Caribbean cruise, half on Voyager Class ships and half on Freedom Class. With the recent renovations - such as the addition of the FlowRider and video screens by the pool - the Navigator is very much like the larger Freedom class ships. We had a terrific time. The shore excursions we did in Jamaica and Cozumel, along with the beach day in Grand Cayman were a ...
