My 2nd cruise (1st was on Carnival Ecstasy). My 18 year old daughter and I drove down to Galveston from the Dallas area the morning of embarkation. No problem, plenty of time. GENERAL COMMENT: This was a Thanksgiving Cruise. Although there were lots of kids on board, we never really saw them until the last day. Maybe because we did not hang out at the pool very much, but we did not have a problem with kids. We expected the worse and were pleasantly surprised.
