Just got back yesterday from our cruise. Had a very good time. This was our second cruise on Princess. The last cruise was on the Golden. The weather was really rainy and cold but we knew we were headed for warmer weather later on. We got to the terminal at 2:00 p.m. and so did everyone else. It took about 45 minutes to get on the ship. Our room was on the same deck as last year. I will only ...

Background and embarkation - we are from the Seattle area, my husband and I are both 39 and our boys are 12 (almost 13) and 10 yrs old. This cruise was my 3rd cruise, my husband's second, my kids first. It was our first on Princess. I had high expectations after everything I'd read and Princess sure delivered. We arrived in Galveston the day before (4/6)which was great because not only were we ...

To celebrate my in-laws 60th Anniversary, their 4 kids and spouses took them on a cruise. Five of us had never cruised before. Embarkation was quick and easy. We all had cabins on the Lido deck next door to each other. We loved being on this deck since it was on the same level as swimming, pizza, buffet, hamburgers and hotdogs and usually some sort of entertainment. We could open the doors between ...

We have just returned from the last Grand Princess out of Galveston. This will have been our third Cruise ( 2nd with Princess) Last Cruise was on the Diamond, and it is hard to beat.....The Diamond is a beautiful ship. We arrived in Houston International and were shuttled by princess to Galveston, everything went very smoothly the staff were great, however I wasn't prepared for the 90 minute ...

We are a family of four, sharing one cabin. This was our 6th cruise, but the first with Princess Cruise lines. Overall, we had a great trip. I will share the highlights with you, and also tell you the things we did not like. Embarkation - Very quick and simple! We used Lighthouse parking which I recommend highly. You can park first, then they will shuttle you and your luggage to pier. We arrived ...

This was our 13th cruise, second time on the Grand. We were wanting to sail on her before she left Galveston. I am 49 and my husband 52.. we did not travel with any children. We drove to Galveston the Friday before and stayed at the Hotel Galvez. We liked the idea of their stay-n-park. Note: if you are planning on driving to Galveston, plan on getting through Houston before 3pm!! We did not and ...

Background: This was our third princess cruise. I am 45 and husband is 42. We flew in to Houston the night before and stayed at the Marriott right there at the airport and caught the princess transfer the next morning. Transfer went very smoothly - definitely the way to go. Took a while to get on the ship but we got there pretty early. Arrived at the port at about 11:30 a.m. Ship looks great ...

I'll begin by saying this is the 3rd cruise my wife & I have made; with one each on Carnival, RCCL, and now Princess. We were to board the Grand Princess (GP) in Galveston and parked in the EZ Park lot for the week. This is the simplest way for those driving to the dock. Book it on line and you'll gave a few bucks. Do not attempt to be one of the many that decide to be dropped off at the pier. Big ...

BACKGROUND - We're both 46, and are limited as to when we can travel due to my job. Since I work in education, we have to travel during school vacations. This was our sixth cruise, and our fourth time to sail with Princess. Our first cruise was to Alaska on the Sea Princess. That cruise will probably never be matched...we were totally in awe of everything that week. Our March 10-17 cruise was the ...
