The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Let me first say the entertainment, stateroom attendant and dining room waiters were great! However........ Don’t forget to pack your patience! We planned this trip for our four teenagers during spring break. We decided to not cancel and move forward despite the coronavirus. Which we probably should had canceled but we decided to give it a shot. Huge disappointment. First ...

We chose to cruise with Royal based on a friend asking us to do a couples getaway. My husband had never cruised and I always chose carnival or Norwegian and never was disappointed. We added on the Key package for early boarding and disembarkation, and a beverage package. Everything went smoothly on boarding. However, our rooms we requested to be adjoining were not and were two floors apart. ...

This was our 2nd cruise ever and 1st time with Royal Caribbean. The ship is dirty and outdated. The glass around the ship looks like it has never been cleaned and we could hardly see through it. Every time you turn around someone is trying to sell you something. Drinks have to be watered down. 16 drinks in one day and no buzz?? Everyone is drinking and I didn’t see one person drunk? How can ...

This is my 3rd cruise and all 3 have been with Royal Caribbean. Unfortunately this one left a bad mark and the way things were handled more or less ruined my vacation for me and left me questioning if I’ll ever cruise with Royal again. To start things off embarkation was delayed first reportedly because of fog. Royal Caribbean contacted us and let us know there would be another update in 2 ...

The most unenjoyable cruise with RC we’ve had

Love the ease of sailing RC out of Galveston, but this was a nightmare. I had to push my husband in his wheelchair AGAIN thru the embarkation process. Once we got on the ship and into the cabin we found our bathroom would flood whenever the shower/tub would drain. Plumber came twice and guaranteed it was fixed, but that’s not the case. The cabin had the same problem during the previous sailing. ...

When we first arrived at check in for departure... everything was okay. We went to eat in the buffet dinning...the food was just okay and the cups were not clean.. cleaned them ourselves. We made it to our stateroom they were a bit dated (itchy). The bathroom looked as if it was not cleaned properly...cleaned that ourselves...thank goodness we had our own cleaning supplies. My Fairlady Dining ...

We were part of a group of dancers that got together for a country western dance cruise. We had a balcony room with a balcony that was covered in rust. When we stood outside for the mandatory safety drill, everything on the deck seemed to be covered in deep rust. Also crew started working at 7:30 AM with saws, hammers and grinders, etc. right below our room, waking us up! We were on VACATION. ...

We chose RC after taking a Carnval and Disney cruise in the past. Me and my 2 kids (15,5) traveled to Galveston from KC to board the ship and were pleasantly suprised by how quickly we boarded (reason #1 for 2 stars). The other great experience was the dining experience. Our waiters and food were top notch! Other than that, nothing was very positive. Our stateroom was dated and creaked all night ...

My Husband and I were so excited to try a Royal Caribbean cruise. We have been on many cruises in the past but always with Carnival. We were told by many of our friends that we would never go back to Carnival after cruising with Royal Caribbean. This statement was false in every way. When we first boarded the ship we went directly to our cabin. Wow we thought the Carnival cabins and bathrooms were ...

The room 3068 -good The Ship- ok lots of visible rust The coffee beverage card- insanely stupid and screws You over: buy a card $32-34 good for 15 drinks NOT!! It is treated as 1 mark off for every expresso shot. So if a drink is $3 or 5 if it has more than a single shot they will mark your card for every shot. $3 cost for an Americano they charge you 4 drinks on card. So you can only get ...
