This was my very first cruise. It was a gift from a friend it was a spare of the moment trip. She asked me to go with her on the Friday that we got out for Thanksgiving break. She told me we were leaving that night to go to Galveston and we was going to sail out on the Saturday. She asked me to go on a cruise with her. I had a GREAATTT Time I can not wait to go on another. Next time I would like ...

Dirty ship

My husband and I cruised on this ship on its last cruise out of Galveston in May 2019. I was very dirty and the ship was very unkept! The food was poor and the buffet lines wrapped all the way around the cafeteria. Carnival cruise line desperately needs to overhaul this ship and do some cleaning. Outside of ship was even nasty. Rusted in many places. Duct tape even ran along the staircase ...

Great first cruise

Girls trip, party of four. We had a check in time of 1130 and arrived at the port about 1045. We decided not to get faster to the fun when booking our cruise. We were happy we did not. Embarkation was a breeze. We walked through most of the line until we reached the top floor where we were assigned a section. We had section 4. It was not quite 1130 yet so we sat for approximately 20 minutes until ...

Martin the club 02 leader made the cruise for all of teens so memorable he is such a great leader and makes everyone feel at home! He made all of us so close in just 4 days of our crusie! It was a fun and memorable crusie because of Martin! He made it very fun of games and great bonding time! Tj the crusie director was great! He was super fun and always saw him interacting with us everywhere! I ...

I was really impressed with the cruise ship Valor. It was clean, food was the best I have had on a cruise in a long time, the wait staff were prompt, courteous, could communicate very well, food in mdr was always very good, steak house was excellent, my room was very clean, the porter made sure I had 2 ice buckets filled, the casino staff were exceptional always coming up to me to see if I was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

I chose this cruise for the price, short duration of trip, and departure port. It was the most boring vacation i've ever had. First of the positives: food was ok, you really should go hungry on the ship. Lots of food options. 2) Room was spacious and ship was clean. 3) Ship sailed on time and arrived on time at destinations. 4) Good excursion options. Negatives: 1) Very old ship. Stinky, ...

Our cruise was as fun and enjoyable as our first one! The Park West team with the art auctions were great! It was our first ever auction at sea and even though we weren’t planning on leaving owning artwork, we did! Matty, Sasha, Ravi, Reece, Bianca and Zoe made our introduction into art collecting memorable. We look forward to seeing them again! The Washington dining staff (Kadek, Rodrigo and ...

Don't book on Carnival ship Valor

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Valor

Taking a cruise to the Panama Canal was on our bucket list however this ship is a rust bucket that has not been updated since it's inaugural voyage and it shows ! The entertainment is done by the same six people for every night, and is horrible. Every show ended with fewer show goers than it started with. Since Carnival has added the "tips" to your bill -- the service has significantly ...

I chose this cruise first because I found a really good deal on it and the second this is it was close enough to home we could drive. My husband and I had a lot of fun, we did have a few hiccups along the way but nothing that caused our vacation to be ruined. Traveling this trip was only my husband and myself, we were on Carnivals Valor. Our embarkationwas very smooth, We arrived at the ...
