We were traveling with 4 people in our room, all adults, one oceanview cabin on Riveria. My husband and I as well as my IN-laws.Our ship sailed full so there were a lot of people onboard. This was my 6th Carnival cruise. I am going ot break it down by category to make it eassier. Food- The food on the lido deck was decent. Some days were better than others but it was never exceptional and ...

Since I intend this to be a rather lengthy cruise review of my 7-night Carnival Conquest cruise from September 25, 2011, to the Bahamas & Key West, Florida, I will also provide a condensed, shorter version for those who don't like to read. So here's that shortened, condensed version, appearing below, highlighting strengths & weaknesses of the cruise. 1.) STRENGTHS of the Carnival Conquest ...

We were not expecting much. We had a late, crowded embarkation (due to someone jumping overboard on the previous cruise...did they dislike it THAT MUCH ?) The inside room was nice.. and the cruise started to get good. Perhaps I will just list the good and the bad: Good: Service. We did Anytime Dining. Never waited longer than 2 minutes for seating. Service was MUCH FASTER than other cruise ...

My husband and I just traveled on the Conquest with our 3 kids (6 and 3 years old and 16 months) and 14 other members of our family. I am 35 and my husband is 31. We drove into Galveston from San Antonio, so we did not take a flight or stay in a hotel before boarding the ship. This was our fourth cruise and our second with Carnival. Our other cruises were on Royal ...

We took the April 27, 2011 cruise that left from Galveston, Tx. We went ahead & splurged on the Premium Vista (aft wrap around) balcony & I would do it over again in a heartbeat! We had room 8448 & everything was perfect. We did hear a few chairs being moved above us on the pool area but it wasn't bad & did not keep us from sleeping. We had the aft wrap around balcony & our friends that went with ...

Where to begin? I have never cruised in my life. I got to the terminal and almost turned around and went home but my family kept saying I was going to love it, so onward and upward I went. Let's just say upon entering the lobby of the Conquest I was blown away. The amount of room on the ship just from the view from the lobby was a relief. But enough of that let me give the lowdown of the ...

2nd Conquest Cruise a Good Time

This was our second time on the Conquest, and the crew seemed nearly entirely different, but the ship seemed just as nice. One thing that seemed different this cruise was the ratio of elderly people to young people. There were a vast quantity of senior citizens, so much so that the young woman running O2, the disco for teenagers, must have been bored out of her mind. (So keep in mind: If you want ...

I have been on this ship a total of 3 times (2 to Jamaica and 1 to Bahamas). I had different rooms each times, the junior suit on Jamaica trip (it was fabulous), a balcony (Bahamas) and a 1A (Jamaica). All of the rooms were unique in their own special way and the corner 1A I believe, was almost my favorite as it felt like a tiny private apartment. I honestly felt like I was on an exotic trip ...

Our cruise vacation started the day before when my sister and I drove into Galveston and spent the night at The Harbor House. We had read mixed reviews about this hotel so we did not know what to expect. Since we are both in our early 60s we knew that we are smart enough to make up our own mind on whether or not we would like this place. Well, lets just say that before the night was over we made ...
