1-10 of 101 Carnival Breeze Cruise Reviews for Romantic Cruises from Galveston
This was my first cruise and hooked me for life. The amenities were a tad out dated and pools crowded on sea days. That's about all on the downside.
Food was great. Drinks were amazing. Staff was attentive and extremely friendly. We spent our mornings on our balcony after our early morning coffee delivery. Was initially bummed there was no coffee pot in the room but it was always delivered on ...
Carnival Breeze 09-16-2018
14 day-Relocation from Galveston TX to Port Canaveral Fl.
Journeys Cruise and Premiere Casino Cruise.
Room 8395, Starboard Side, 8A
Overall Rating of The Cruise 9 out of 10.
Embarkation: We expected to be slow because of past experiences at Port of Galveston. It was a good surprise to arrive at 11:00 AM and be onboard by 11:30 AM carrying our boarding ...
Sunday, September 16 - embarkation smooth.
Monday, September 17 - sea day
Tuesday, September 18 - Sea day ate at steak house and had a professional private sitting with a photographer. They came out beautiful, and that is something I would never say, much less think of pictures of me.
Wednesday, September 19 - Grand Cayman - Snuba diving
Thursday, September 20 - sea day
Friday, ...
We were a bit nervous about this cruise because we had never sailed Carnival before and had heard it was a "Party" ship. Our fears were for naught because Carnival is very much like all the other cruise lines with a mix of all different offerings and something for everyone. We had an excellent embarkation. Since we were in a suite we walked right on the ship and to our cabin. Unfortunately, our ...
It was raining when we arrived at port on embarkation day but made it to the terminal with no problems, we were some of the lucky ones. We had check in time of 12:30 - 1:00 and had no wait at all. Might have been 30 minutes from getting off shuttle from parking to on the ship. Rooms were ready with in 5 minutes so we dropped our bags and off we went.
We have been on both the Dream and the ...
I wish I could combined bits of the Royal Caribbean cruise we took 3 years ago (awesome food and service, adherence to dress code (cover-ups and shoes required in all areas other than the pools), hand sanitizer use encouraged to all guests entering buffet area) with bits of the Carnival Breeze cruise we took last week (LOVED the PG-rated comedy shows).
Food on the Breeze was average, although ...
This was our very first cruise. We sailed out of Galveston on the Carnival Breeze. We sailed with our daughter and our two grandkids, aged 9 and 11. I confess I was a bit nervous about parking and getting onto the ship, but Carnival had a very easy and efficient process. The parking people also made it easy for us. We had a rather late check in time, but I am sort of glad we did. Our morning was ...
We choose this cruise because of the holiday week and only having to take off 4 days for a 7 day cruise. It was pretty expensive cruise and my husband and I went with 3 other couples that are friends, we all live in the greater Houston area so easy to get to port etc. This was my husband’s 6 cruise and my 11th, we did FTTF as well.
We really like the Breeze it has a great layout and muted ...
we loved our cruise on the carnival breeze. the ship has a lot of activities, great crew and good food choices.
crew- the staff was great. our room steward was very helpful. the cruise director and entertainment team were really good.
food- we enjoyed all of the included food venues. loved Tandoor, Blue Iguana, and the wok. the food in the MDR was also really good. the only issue was ...
We primarily cruise Royal Caribbean (RC) but this was our son's senior trip and we thought we would try the "Fun Ship". They have the O2 club for 15-17 year olds. My son and his friend did not really want to go....but I insisted they try it out. They ended up going there every evening!
We kept comparing RC to Carnival. There are pros and cons. The embarkation was smooth. There were many ...
