1-10 of 72 Carnival Breeze Cruise Reviews for Romantic Cruises from Galveston
This 14 day cruise was our 30th overall and 19th with Carnival. I found for the most part a typical Carnival experience (good) The ship is kept spotless and the staff is the friendliest we have ever seen. Practically everyone greeted us with a smile and was very polite...The stage shows were IMO lacking. In 14 days we only had 3 musicals and one was terrible. (cowboy show) Other nights we were ...
We booked the Breeze out of Galveston after having lucked-into a fantastic deal on airfare and finding only two choices available for our dates; the other being RCCL's Liberty of the Seas, which we have sailed before as well as having sailed it's sister, the Freedom, recently. We thought to change it up a little and with 3 previous Carnival cruises under our belts, we felt like we knew what we ...
This cruise was my least favorite that I have taken so far. I didn't read the August 2018 reviews prior to leaving, now that I have returned and read these reviews, I find it upsetting to see that the same problems that I experienced have been going on for awhile and Carnival has not done anything to fix this. Of course I understand that sometimes it is difficult to fix crew members' attitudes. I ...
The reason we took this cruise is because I played in the Carnival PokerPro NLH Poker Tournament.
This was our 18th cruise on Carnival; our 3rd cruise on the Breeze; our 2nd cruise in a Cove Balcony (my wife has discovered that she likes to be close to the water); and our first cruise out of Galveston, TX (and our last – more on that later). We have been to the destinations many times on ...
We chose this cruise because it left out of Galveston. Embarkation was fast and easy, the cabin and service were 5 star. Very clean ship with friendly ,happy crew members. The comedians very very funny. The only shore excursion we did was 2 reef snorkeling in Nassau which was great! Now to why I gave this review 3 stars. We went to the dining room only one night because of the "floor show" in ...
Took a 7 day cruise on the Carnival Breeze out of Galveston in July 2018. Overall it was a mixed experience. Nothing that was bad was bad enough that I wouldn't sail Carnival again (I would), but nothing stood out that would make me want to seek out a Carnival cruise. Overall I had fun, but there were some negatives that went along with the positives.
THE GOOD:
1) Airport transportation ...
Gathering of family spread throughout U.S. (10 adults, 7 kids). My group was me, my wife, and 3 kids (7, 4, and 21 mos). The grandparents cruised on this ship/itinerary previously. Price, cabin availability and itinerary were appealing. My 4th cruise with Carnival.
Embarkation: Transfers to/from HOU: no problems. Galveston Cruiseport: porters were solid; transfer bus to check-in was ...
My friends have cruised 3 times in the past and we decided to give Carnival a try.
There were 4 of us.
The ship was clean, the rooms were tidy and clean.
Some of the production entertainment was not so great but there was decent entertainment in some of the other areas.
The food was terrible in most areas we tried but a couple of nights in dining room somewhat decent.
The STAFF ( ...
The back of the ship is where our room was and the smell of sewage everyday was almost unbearable. Food is highly underseasoned to our taste. The embarkation went smoothly. The disembarkation at the end went very smoothly. The disembarkation on the excursions was definitely out of a hot horror movie. We did dance the night away at the 80's Glow Party on the Lido deck. Ari & Gede were the best ...
Our first cruise. The good, bad and ugly. First the good, this ship is clean clean clean. I wish I had better pics of the cabin, I did not think about it while we were on board. Our cabin was small but did not feel that way, there was plenty of room for the two of us and all my over-packing. The room staff went above and beyond and super fast. The ship was large and there were a lot of ...
