Galveston to the Caribbean Carnival Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Carnival Breeze - Remarkably Unremarkable

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

We are regular Carnival cruisers having sailed on the Vista & Horizon (Vista Class), Magic (Dream Class) and the Spirit (Spirit Class). With this being a new ship for us, we were anticipating the usual excitement of exploring a different ship. I can say unequivocally the Breeze is the most underwhelming compared to the other ships we’ve sailed for a number of reasons. This review is for our ...

My steward was amazing, but I will never cruise again. I feel like we spent our entire vacation waiting in lines. Whether it be waiting for a drink, waiting for food, waiting to get off the ship, waiting for an elevator, waiting in line for our excursion, or waiting in a line to get back to the ship/ on the ship after an extremely short excursion… I feel that my money would have been better spent ...

Carnival is obviously struggling to pay off its debt from the pandemic. I have never been on a cruise where there was so much disorganization, poor customer service, weary employees, ineffective systems, and general apathy. The Carnival Hub app is not very good. It does not show OBC at the onset of a cruise. It does not automatically transfer casino credits to your account. It does not ...

I was reluctant to cruise Carnival again due to past experiences. However, due to my better judgement I gave Carnival one final chance with their brand new ship. I assumed, that a new ship in the first month of sailing, everything should be tip top. Was I mistaken. We shall start with the embarkation. It was a complete cluster from the minute we were dropped off at the port via the shuttle ...

Partner booked our very first cruise for my birthday. The day of my birthday we were set to be on shore, so we decided to do the sea turtle excursion as I have a tattoo of one and have never been able to meet one. It was set to be super special. We're not rich by any means, so this was a hefty sum for us to spend on an experience. While the food was amazing in the steakhouse that you have to ...

I have been on 14 cruises and this was the worst. I have been on Carnival 6 times prior (including this ship) and this time found it to be tired and worn out much like the staff. The ship needs some time off for repairs and simple routine care. It is the first time I have ever said a ship needed more help... I found the dining options adequate but limited. The lido buffet was always ...

Had a 10 hour drive to Galveston. Stayed at Laquinta on I-45. OK hotel, was very expensive due to motorcycle rally. Annual Motor cycle rally was occurring. Wish I had known about that ahead of time. For anyone interested the rally is the first weekend in November, if you are NOT into cycles you should AVOID going to Galveston during that time. Embarkation was quick and smooth, even ...

Terrible, getting worse

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Vista

To start, I have taken several cruises (7) and Carnival has done nothing but take things away... food was just about inedible in the main dining room and buffet, chocolate strawberries were pink, no different choices of bread anymore, butter is now very generic. They stopped room service a couple of years ago and now you have to pay. Long ago, you paid for casino and alcohol which is ...

We won this cruise. It left from Galveston. The boarding process as expected but with large fans providing air flow at the port. Once on ship we had to report to our muster areas which is all well and good but none of the crew knew how to direct you to your your specific area. There was little to no air conditioning and we arrived hot and sweaty. The cabins were very noisy to the point that you ...

First and probably last cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

This is the first cruise I’ve ever been on, and probably will be my last. It is incredibly loud and noisy at all times and everywhere. You will have incredibly long lines anywhere you try to eat. I was always excited to eat the food on the cruise because I heard such good things about it. I admit it was mostly good, but not all the meals were. I had ordered room service and I got rubbery chicken. ...
