This 14 day cruise was our 30th overall and 19th with Carnival. I found for the most part a typical Carnival experience (good) The ship is kept spotless and the staff is the friendliest we have ever seen. Practically everyone greeted us with a smile and was very polite...The stage shows were IMO lacking. In 14 days we only had 3 musicals and one was terrible. (cowboy show) Other nights we were ...
We chose this cruise because it left out of Galveston. Embarkation was fast and easy, the cabin and service were 5 star. Very clean ship with friendly ,happy crew members. The comedians very very funny. The only shore excursion we did was 2 reef snorkeling in Nassau which was great! Now to why I gave this review 3 stars. We went to the dining room only one night because of the "floor show" in ...
This was my 6th Cruise, 1st on Carnival. Previous cruises have been mostly on RCI and Celebrity, so admittedly, I was a little biased coming into this cruise, however, being a New Year's cruise and traveling with friends, the value was unbeatable (close to $400 less than RCI's Liberty on the same dates, different Itinerary).
Cabin chosen was interior, as has been on previous cruises as value ...
The ship was nice. Not as nice I was expecting for a newer ship. It was clean and the decor was ok just not my style.
We had two cabins and the service was great in both. Loved the balcony. Deck 7 was very peaceful and no noise from above or below.
Next time I will plan on spending 3+ nights in the specialty restaurants or maybe I will eat more at the buffet. My family likes sit down ...
We did not choose the cruise first off - daughter got married on board. That part of the trip was not too bad.
Rooms were quite tight and not particularly cheap for the value to cost ratio. In face we did order a lower level room (seasick wife) but we could barely turn around. Was a balcony room so paid more for that but could hardly turn around.
Everything costs extra unless you pay ...
We always cruise on my Husband's Birthday and this was the only Ship out of Galveston that we could get an accessible Stateroom on.
We drove to Galveston on the day of the Cruise, since we had sailed out of Galveston several times and there was no need to explore the city again.
Checkin was rather speedy and we were in our Stateroom shortly thereafter.
Breakfast in the Lido was good, so ...
We chose this cruise for the ports. Unfortunately Key West out due to the Hurricane Freeport was not good nothing close. To ship Nassau was a great stop. So really it was a one port cruise We wanted to try a bigger ship so the Breeze was a good choice. The crew were very friendly and helpful. We had my time dinning and we're lucky to have the same team wait on us each night. We food ...
I booked this cruise because it went to Key West. Getting off the ship in Key West was terrible, the line was extremely long. They should have let people with early exercusions off first. The rest of the ports had two gang ways open which made it go smoother.
I have been on the Magic before and the ship is much better.
The food was average. The steak house that you pay extra for was not ...
My husband and I have been on a lot of different Carnival ships - from small to large, old to new. However, this was our first time cruising out of Galveston.
Ship: The Breeze itself is a nice ship. We stayed in a spa balcony cabin which was very nice. I loved the muted colors and decor. And, I enjoyed the spa perks.
Embarkation: The terminal was crowded and loud and embarkation did not ...
This was our 3rd time with Carnival and 5th time overall cruising. The Breeze is one of the newest ships and has a few amenities that are nice but it really feels like not much has changed over the years. The food at the buffets are mediocre at best. The deserts don't have much flavor in general aside from the amazing chocolate melting cake. The breakfast buffet is the worst though. Unless you ...
