Long delays to get off ship. No organization whatsoever with lines. Stood in line for a total of 5 hours to get on and off the ship at newport, with no explanation or apology. We had only an hour in newport because of it. There were tender boats in newport. While we were waiting in line for the tender to take us back to the ship, the tender boat rammed the dock hard, denting the tender boat and ...

We chose this cruise because it was priced competitively and was going to the New England ports we have been wanting to visit. The staff on the ship did a very good job and they treated us well. Getting on the ship was easy and some of the ports were really nice. Now that I have covered all the positives, let me share the negatives. 1-the cabin was not as clean as we would have liked. 2-we ...

We chose this cruise as we liked the look of the itinerary and wanted to give MSC a try! We are seasoned cruisers having cruised as a family and a couple with all the major players. We arrived at Brooklyn Pier, NYC, expecting great things having heard how great the ship was…….. in fairness, the ship itself could not be faulted. Beautiful, clean and well appointed…… great shame the rest of the ...

This ship is beautiful and the shows were outstanding but cold food and lack of hygiene and sanitation made it undesirable. There are no hand sanitizers at all entries to the buffet. It was not until the ship became a cough fest did MSC stand a crew member to spray hands and this was only at the one entrance with sanitizers in place. MSC allowed guests to refill water bothles bu putging the used ...

This cruise was a disaster from start to finish! I can't believe we paid so much and got so little in return. - Embarcation was a HUGE fail. There were no signs or people providing information regarding luggage at drop off. There were 2 stations to hand off luggage. We waited in one of the lines only to be told we were at the wrong place (EVEN) we needed to go to the other one (ODD). How were we ...

This was the WORST cruise we have ever been on and we were not alone. It got off to a bad start when we all had to stand in lines to get on the ship for FOUR HOURS. People were actually passing out. So, we were all unhappy to begin with and sadly things never really improved. The food wasn’t good, as it was pretty much the same thing every day. Also, we never got to stop in Sydney, Nova Scotia, ...

1: Background information: I've been on nearly sixty cruises and only once have things been worse. I will never critic poorly things that happen due to nature and anything beyond the cruise lines control. I've traveled on the MSC seaside and though a very nice ship my experience was less than expected. 2: Ship information: I chose the ship due to its technology of which I read about and its ...

MSC MERAVIGLIA My wife and I have been on approximately thirty cruises but this one was the worst. It took more than three hours in the terminal before we could get on the ship and we were standing the entire time. There were very few cruise ship employees to guide you - it was a complete mess with no direction. We were told that the computers had been down in the morning and this had caused ...

The cruise started with a horrible embarkation. I never received the wheelchair that I had reserved for embarkation and spent over 2 hours standing in line which is very painful for me. The lounges on the ship are way to small for the amount ofpassengers. The food was horrible. Almost all the food in the buffet was cold, the dining room not much better. The meat was very tough. One day a ...

MSC New York City to Quebec (roundtrip) October 2019 Our first experience with MSC was extremely disappointing, to the point we will never use this cruise lines again. MSC is an Italian based cruise line that is trying to make an entrance into the U.S. market and unless they make some major changes, will definitely fail. See some of our experiences below. • Arriving at terminal was ...
