I was on one of the very first cruises on the Panorama in January 2020. It was such a totally amazing cruise I was afraid that this cruise would not measure up, especially since it was my DH last cruise. Also, I've been on other cruises since sailing restarted after the pandemic, and find that it is a different experience, although not a better one. Until this cruise...
Being this was an ...
To start off getting on the boat was awful!! Longest lines and what was the point of verifly if they had to review all your documents at 3 separate locations it was ridiculous waiting hours in line to wait in 3 more looking at the same stuff! Finally get on the boat and our refrigerator never worked the entire time and neither did the on demand movies. We bought the bottomless bubbles package and ...
I think we were just so happy to be back to cruising but, honestly, it was not the quality we expected for either the food or entertainment options. The food at the Main Dining Room was not great and our 2nd visit to Wonderland was also lackluster. Service was steller but not enough activities to keep us entertained. Drinks were different depending on the bar. Lines for My Time even with a ...
My husband and I just returned from a Caribbean cruise. While there were positive things about this ship and crew there are also a number of negatives. The entertainment was very good. The rooms are very nicely laid out with two separate closets. As far as the ship goes the lack of an adult-only pool is disappointing. I also feel that RC is not ready for full capacity sailing yet. In seven ...
The only reason for the one star was mainly the food. Otherwise we had a great time and enjoyed the ship. This was the third time we have been on the Panorama recently. First time was the end of October Last year, second time was the end of January this year. We cruised on other cruise lines in between but we kept coming back to Carnival because of the fantastic prices and living near the port ...
Carnival Panorama May 21-28, 2022
Mexican Riviera
We are a retired couple in our mid-60s, out of our 30 cruises, this is our 8th on Carnival. Other cruise lines we have experienced are Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Norwegian, and Celebrity. We chose this cruise as our first after the pandemic because it was a simple one-hour flight from Phoenix and we were more comfortable with ports ...
Ship itself is rather stunning! Cabin was good, but smaller than we had on Carnival. A few stains on couch that apperead removable, but were not cleaned. Shower had a leak at the connection to the controls, and tv remote was broken. Replacement remote was broken as well. Food wa good, but not exceptional. Several dishes were somewhat overcooked. Ship sailed well, minimal ocean sway. ...
We were offered a GREAT deal to board this ship to the Mexican Rivera. 140.00 per person, 7 days.
Never having been to the west coast my wife and I jumped at the deal. Needless to say, it was one of our BEST cruises. The three ports, (Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo) were super. We loved them all and found the people to be SO friendly and helpful. We would do this trip again and have ...
Just got off the Panorama yesterday. Here are my quick thoughts:
Had a Havana Aft Extended Balcony on Deck 9. Fantastic view, loved the location right below the Lido and pizza station. It also shielded us from some of the soot that lower aft balconies reported. You do hear the occasional chair being moved on the deck above, but it wasn’t too bad.
We tried all of the specialty restaurants ...
Stayed in a spa cabin, which was always kept clean. Complained about the lock not working, though, and it was never fixed. Disappointed there wasn't nightly turndown service. Spa services were excellent, and entire staff was very experienced and competent. Overall, the ship was lovely. Other than the burgers and burritos, the food quality was poor. There was a large selection in the buffet, ...
