Why we booked out next four cruises on Celebrity.

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

Our first cruise was a 15 day Transatlantic to Rome. We then stayed on another 10 days on the same ship in the same cabin.. We do a lot of cruising and have plenty of experience on Royal Caribbean ships. Major complaint was that they removed transatlantic satellite television programming. They claim it was too intermittent and snowy, to us intermittent service is better than no service. Had to ...

Allure of the Seas was not so alluring on its first transatlantic cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Allure of the Seas

Traveling with my wife on Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas transatlantic crossing of April 19 - May 1, 2015 was our 11th cruise in eight years, on four different lines. Having done one cruise each on Norwegian and Celebrity, our remaining experience is about evenly split between Princess and Royal Caribbean. This was our second Atlantic crossing, having done the trip with the Royal Princess ...

Mixed Review of TA

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam

4* Mariner. Did annual TA on Nieuw Amsterdam. Ship was to have come out of dry dock. We embarked in Fort Lauderdale and quickly found out "dry dock" was to continue as we crossed the Atlantic. New carpet in dining areas laid, but didn't look vacuumed. Major Internet and TV upgrades led to outages and on board dry dock employees continuing their trade. The issues should be taken care of in ...

Good Cruise, Food Wonderful, Staff even better

We took the TA on 4/8/15 after having been on 2 other HAL ships that definitely had staff issues and maintenance problems. We figured we'd give HAL one more chance and we are glad we did! The Nieuw Amsterdam was great! I have no complaints, but I do have some compliments. We ate in the MDR every night on the Open Seating plan. We never had to wait for a table once in the 2 weeks. The service ...

Excellent Spring Break Cruise

My husband and I (early 30's) traveled with my mother and brother. This was our 3rd Celebrity cruise and 6th cruise overall. It was an excellent experience. We stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th Ave the night before. Good location, but not the best hotel for the high price. I wouldn't recommend it. Check-in for the cruise was very quick. We arrived around 11:15 and walked directly onto the ship. ...

A Month on the Quest

We sailed on a back to back cruise on the Quest leaving out of Fort Lauderdale for Europe. We had sailed on the Quest nice before a year earlier. With few exceptions we found the ship and staff some of the best we've ever experienced. We always marvel at the personal service and name recognition. How do they do it? We were confidentially told that the staff is quizzed on name recognition ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Island Princess

We normally try to take a Holland America relocation cruise every spring to Europe. We decided to try Princess lines given the Madeira/Barcelona/Rome/Naples/Venice itinerary and attractive price. We figured that Princess and HAL couldn't be that far apart since they belong to the same company. We couldn't have been more wrong. The gap is like that between a Lexus and a Toyota--both fine ...

We have travelled with HAL 8 times, however our last experience did not live up to our previous experiences. Notwithstanding the outstanding Indonesian and Filipino crew (without whom the cruise line would sink into mediocrity), our dealings with the front-office staff was less than helpful. We had been assured before sailing that the cabin we had selected was large enough for 3 people, this was ...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day voyage on LOS. We booked the trip in mid December and got awesome price on cruise and flights. We had only cruised RC once w/ about 6 other sailings On Carnival. Having read reviews and information on LOS our expectations were pretty high. Fortunately in almost every aspect RC didn't disappoint. Here's a quick run down of our voyage. Originally we were ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

This will be a quick review of our Oasis of the Seas W. Caribbean cruise with ship only points. My wife and I have sailed on RCCL 5 times and other lines 7 times. This was our first sailing on the Oasis Class. This time around we sailed with our 10 month old. We found the ship to be very kid friendly. There was plenty to do even for a child this young. We utilized the Royal Babies and Tots nursery ...
