4* Mariner. Did annual TA on Nieuw Amsterdam. Ship was to have come out of dry dock. We embarked in Fort Lauderdale and quickly found out "dry dock" was to continue as we crossed the Atlantic. New carpet in dining areas laid, but didn't look vacuumed. Major Internet and TV upgrades led to outages and on board dry dock employees continuing their trade. We took the TA on 4/8/15 after having been on 2 other HAL ships that definitely had staff issues and maintenance problems. We figured we'd give HAL one more chance and we are glad we did!
