My experience on Odyssey was generally positive, with a few hiccups. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: -The ship is beautiful, easily navigable, and well-equipped -The staff were all exceptionally friendly -My stateroom was spotlessly clean and had plenty of storage -Onboard activities were fun and diverse, but you need to book ahead of time! -The destinations on this ...

About Us: We are 60 and recently retired. This was our 28th cruise but only our 2nd on Holland America. We sailed with them to Alaska in 2008 and had a marvelous time. Pros: The ship was immaculate. Embarkation and debarkation were effortless. Cabin was ready at 12:30. Balcony cabin was clean, well designed and the shower was fantastic. Loved the chairs on the balcony. Anytime dining ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

Thanks to Covid restrictions and other family travels, this was our first cruise in nearly 5 years. We had cruised twice before on Equinox and were a little concerned that the ship might have changed considerably. However, we needn't have worried as everything was more or less as we remembered it! Our only gripe was that most of our favourite, and quiet (!), sunbathing spots were now reserved ...

All great but entertainment a little lacking.

We love this class of ship. So many great venues. We’ve sailed on Ovation before and were really excited as Odyssey is even larger and has a couple additional places to dine or drink. We are a bit disappointed in the overall lack of appealing entertainment with some terrific venues being underutilized. Two70 sits eerily quiet during the day on sea days whereas Ovation had some live music. The ...

RCCL Odyssey of the Seas -- absolutely horrible!

Unbelievable experience on this ship! Where to start... The first day I found that all of the reservations that I had made for dinner were gone from the RCCL app so my husband and I went to the Main Dining Room directly to find out our dining time. It was a bit crowded, so I sought out a member of the wait staff that was outside of the dining room to explain our situation and seek guidance. ...

We had a simply wonderful time on Reflection this past week. It was our first time sailing with Celebrity and it won't be our last! A few notes: We spent two nights in at the Courtyard at Fort Lauderdale Beach prior to the cruise. We had a stupendous view and really enjoyed watching ships coming in and seeing the Reflection waiting for us on the second morning. We had a King Junior Suite ...

As a past cruiser with Celebrity for the past twenty years I am saddened to report that the cruise line had gone downhill in terms of food variety, entertainment, and staffing in an obvious way to save money while raising prices. The fault in not on the staff, the are friendly and helpful and always smiling, and they keep the ship clean and safe. However, in the mdr the appetizers except ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Enchanted Princess

User Avatar

All I will say is that COVID must have devastated Princess. Their cost cutting measures are extensive. As a top of the line suite passenger, we come to expect certain little things that help make the cruise memorable. They have eliminated flowers in the suite, chocolates at bed turn down, the sewing kit, pen and stationary, the fruit basket until we asked for one and individual soaps and shampoos. ...
