Princess is killing the cruising experience

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Ruby Princess

Princess, what happened? I’ve been on close to 40 cruises, including over 100 days with princess, and this was by far the worst cruise I’ve ever taken. When I go on a cruise, I choose the itinerary, the food, and entertainment as reasons to cruise. Halfway through this trip to Panama Canal, I have been let down so much that for the first time, I am actually posting how disappointed I am on a ...

I have cruised many times, and this was my first and LAST Princess cruise. The ship was filthy, mold everywhere including in the toilet in our cabin. Service was non-existent, food was mediocre on a good day. Reservations were not honored, so we mainly ate pizza and soft serve ice cream for 10 days. Buckets were in hallways catching drips, auto doors slammed open and shut all day. Talent was ...

First time on Princess and not impressed

I have been on cruises before, but not with Princess. I had high expectations based on reviews. To put it simply, there was a lot of misinformation, poor planning, and the atmosphere was just lacking. Let me at least start with the positive: Food was great. That Pizza is Amazing. There were a FEW staff that were actually pleasant. Mostly the issues I experienced were just a lot of little things. ...

Some Good, Some Bad, A lot of Ugly

Embarkation was tremendously slow due to continued "computer glitches." There were not many people in line, but our guy simply struggled to get the information into the system that allows us to get on our way - nt a huge deal, but we stood at the counter for 20 minutes. We were excited that "anytime dining" was offered. I don't know if this is new to Princess, but they had no clue how to do it. ...

Anytime Dining Means Anytime Plus 2 Hours or so

We had a great time on the Princess Alaska cruise so we decided to take a relaxing winter break on the Ruby Princess to Grand Turk and Princess Cay. It was not good. The dining service was the worst I've ever had on vacation. We did "Anytime Dining" or as Princess says "the flexibility to dine when and with who you choose." What a lie. The first night we had to wait in line about 40 minutes to get ...

I have never been on a cruise that I was counting down the days until it ENDED. This was the worst cruise my husband and I have ever been on. We typically go with RC or Carnival but had decided to book Princess for our honeymoon since it was supposed to be more upscale. Unfortunately, the only thing upscale about this cruise was the price... The service was horrible from the second we got to the ...

Princess was HORRIBLE

Recently My husband and I were on the Ruby Princess, sailing #R116. Our experience was dreadful. We have heard from Princess -their solution is a $250.00 PP credit on another ship. This is really the epitome of horrid customer service. If I tried to make my customers buy another piece of jewelry with some money toward incentive, they would laugh at me. That's not customer service; that's arrogance ...

Ruby Princess - Beautiful Ship - Lousy Food

We just returned from a cruise on the new Ruby. We are experienced cruisers, having traveled several times on other lines, this was our first Princess Cruise. I won't spend a lot of time on the ship, because it is brand new, and it is beautiful as you expect. We thought the rooms were very well laid out, and very convenient to use. We had the balcony upgrade category on deck 10. Be aware, ...
