my wife and i just got back last week from our 49 day cruise of south america on the Royal Princess which was a nice cruise even though the captain missed a port and got us late to a few others...but the mini suite we got M105 on the Royal Princess was terrible...simply terrible..we were mislead by the website and brochures about a mini suite...i was expecting a mini suite like the diagram which ...
It has taken me a few months to write my review for our cruise. I think this was our 4th or 5th cruise with Princess. The embarkation process was very crowded but the staff at the desk were excellent. The ports of call, except for Rio, all seemed about the same. Not much of interest. The food was very disappointing, so much so that we quit going to the dining room and just tried to find the ...
I have been on many other cruise lines, but wanted to give Princess a try because of their "higher class reputation". The customer service was awful! We would acknowledge staff with "good morning","hi" etc., and rarely heard any comments back. We would just get an awkward stare back. Hardly saw any staff smiling or speaking with passengers. Ordering drinks from the bar was a horrid experience ...
We have only been on a total of 6 cruises (Princess twice, Royal Caribbean twice and Celebrity twice) so we are by no means expert cruisers, but the issues we had with our most recent Princess Cruise will prevent us from EVER cruising with Princess ever again...never!
There were so many bad customer service issues I really don't know where to start, so best I start right from the ...
Where to start? First I made arrangements due to dietary requirements as I have gluten intolerance. Get on board and there was no gluten free food except gluten free pizza that was sometimes not bad. Sometimes it was awful. The dining room lectured me about ordering my food the day before even though I had just boarded the ship and gave me very limited options and advised if I did not order the ...
The internet, phones and tv was up and down. They need to fix the phone problem because someone is going to have an emergency and not be able to call for help. Entertainment was okay. Food options were very disappointing. Very few vegetarian options. If you are a carnivore, you have it made. We were on the crown last year and it was so much better. Ports were good. We had not been to three ...
Terrible food.
Minimal Food selections.
Small Balcony Cabin. Bathroom was so small my knees were jammed up against the Bathroom door when I sat on the toilet.
The waiters rarely spoke, had no personality and sometimes quite rude.
Not one single restaurant Manager ever came to the table to see how your dining experience was.
Our cabin had no AC for the first two days at sea and it ...
We used to love Princess, but it is not what it used to be. Guest Services is very inconsistent....a lot of apathetic employees. A real hassle for people with mobility problems, which causes issues for other passengers...very disorganized with little to no signage.A safety issue as well, since no mobility “parking” spaces for wheelchair and scooters, those in that situation just park where they ...
We loved the food and service in the Dining Roomand entertainment good. But everything else was so awful....not worth it. The worse customer service we have ever had. Very apathetic unfriendly crew. Also they try to cover stuff up, lie about things, blame the passengers and others. The air/heat control in our cabin did not work properly and we only had a HOT shower, never cool. Everyone around us ...
We have been on many Princess cruises---I am Platinum Class, my wife is Elite class.
This will be our last time, the quality has greatly detiorated The ship itself had been recently renovated nicely
Embarkation & Debarkation were fine, cabin was nice; dining was the problem.
The anytime dining room has had the same menu for years, it really needs revamping; boring! Horizon Court & Bistro ...
