This was our 3rd time on the Royal Princess, we do like this ship. Overall, we had a nice cruise: clean ship, professional personnel and good entertainment. As for the food, the choices in the Horizon buffet were diversified and mostly good quality; we did not like the choices in the dining-room as much: too many fish options to our taste so we went only once during our 7 day cruise (we missed ...
The Royal ship is one of the best. Our embarkation went quick and we were in our cabin by noon. Port staff were very helpful and friendly.
Once we go onboard the cruise staff were very friendly and helpful. During our whole cruise the staff was very pleasant and happy.
The food and entertainment was great! The cabin steward, Edward was so attentive and fulfilled all of our requests. Our ...
We arrived the day before into Fort Lauderdale late in the evening. We reserved a hotel nearby that offered shuttles service. WHAT ZOO. Skip shuttles and get an UBER or taxi. We flew southwest and their terminal was so disorganized. NOT a great way to start a vacation.
In the morning we decided to take an UBER to the Port. As it turns our the Royal was not in its usual location so we lost 45 ...
We started out our cruise by arriving a day early. We rented a car and stayed at the Pembroke Pines Hampton Inn. Nice hotel. Quiet. Renting a car gave us the opportunity to see the area and do some shopping. We went to the port early. We took a cab from the car rental station. Because we were in a premium suite we were seated in the Elite lounge after a quick check in. There is nothing special ...
We are veterans of eighteen cruises and consider the Royal Princess one of the best. The ship was very elegant and tastefully decorated, not garish like some of the other ships we have sailed on. The cabin was a little tight and the balcony was smaller than we are used to, but the room was comfortable and well maintained. The shower is actually larger than most, which was a pleasant surprise. ...
We chose this Cruise for the itinerary and the "reputation" of the Cruse Line. A lesson in not believing in their own PR! They failed in every aspect of their published standards.
Dress Code in main dining venues simply ignored by management (i do not blame the guests) Food was rather Hit & Miss. The constant interruptions as the waiting staff are made to up-sell either drinks or substituting ...
Average experience. Big beautiful ship. Wish they would monitor the lounge chairs as many with belongings and no people for hours. The entertainment was not as good as we are used to on Princess. Check your accounts for accuracy and if staff says they will take care of a charge double check they did. Wish they had more variety in movies under the stars as they were repeated the second week. ...
We felt the food quality was down from the last Princess cruise. The one night they had steak, it was not edible. The shows were very crowded! The drink prices were far too expensive! 11.00 for the least expensive glass of wine--ridiculous. We felt the iced tea was not good--it had an odd flavor. Positive note--our cabin steward was very efficient!
The casino has a section for smoking, ...
DH and I had an enjoyable week on the Royal Princess. Without going into every detail let me just say this is a beautiful ship. We sailed 2 years ago on the Regal Princess. This ship is virtually a mirror image. We were told although quite new, it had already undergone refurbishing. We had a basic balcony cabin on the Aloha deck-- which we liked. It was a good location for us, comfortable and ...
Wanted to reward myself on my birthday and seven days in the Caribbean fit the bill. Had always been on smaller Princess ships but the Royal made good use of the additional size in the public areas. As my cruise ended, they were completing fitting the ship for Medallion service.
My assigned table mates were really interesting people and made dinners an extra fun time. I also like the ...
