Royal Caribbean Staff Made Our Cruise A Delight!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Vision of the Seas

The embarkation went so smoothly. Bravo to Royal Caribbean. We were greeted with pleasant smiles and cheery comments. That was a good start. Once we got to our room we were a bit surprised at how small it was for 3 people and a bit older than we expected. After we freshened the place up with our disinfectant towelettes and received the extra towels and face cloths from the steward, all was well ...

We are Diamond Plus cruisers with RC and this is our first cruise with RC since the pandemic. We chose this cruise based on the itinerary and low price. The stateroom service was great, the bar service was great and the overall service was very good across the ship. The service in the dining room was ok, but still slow at times. The ship is showing its age, but overall it's well maintained and ...

Older ship - great service - loved the itinerary

We chose this ship because of the itinerary. It fit perfectly with our vacation time (11 nights, just after Christmas), and we had never been to 3 of the 6 ports before. We knew it was an older smaller ship, and didn't expect much of the exciting activities like water parks, thrill rides, etc. The ports were going to be our excitement! Embarkation went smoothly. I had made reservations for ...

Very Disapointed

Crew was outstanding and tried very hard to be accommodating. Many of staff in windjammer and dining rooms were very helpful and attentive. However, feel that upper management made terrible choices as regards food choices and it felt like RCI didn't care that there was essentially no food option for lunch after 3pm or after 8pm other than park cafe. RCI should be embarrassed to call that an ...

My husband and I waited two years to go on this cruise due to the pandemic. We were ecstatic to finally be onboard and in our lovely balcony room. Even though we were both fully vaccinated and boosted we both caught Covid on the third day of our sailing. We spent the next eight days ejected from our balcony room into a dank medical ward room. We spent the remaining days looking through the dirty ...

AZ crew in the Panama Canal

We chose this cruise because the timing was good, it ended up in LA where we could drive home to Phoenix and we needed 15 days to make Diamond level. We arrived in Fort Lauderdale 2 days ahead hoping to do some sightseeing but a cloudburst stuck with us for much of the 48 hours until we boarded which dampened our plans. We were glad we were staying in an Embassy Suites and had the extra room while ...

We chose this 16 day cruise for it’s itinerary, value and breadth of activities. The ship was a manageable size, offered plentiful activities and many meal and eating options. The cruise directors and activities staff provided many entertainment and participant activities. We were amazed at the friendly and helpful staff. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure we had the ...

Terrific Panama Canal Trip

This was our first 15 day trip. The time went by swiftly and smoothly. Boarding in Ft. Lauderdale was a breeze. We were about 30 minutes from terminal arrival to the swimming pool bar. That beats the 3 1/2 hour wait in Vancouver on our last trip. The ship was fine. Everything worked out. Got our early dining through the travel agency (Cruise Brothers, the best). Food was mostly excellent. ...

Panama Canal on Vision of the Seas

This was our fourth cruise and we were really looking forward to getting away and seeing the canal. Unfortunately, there were some down sides. #1. The Fort Lauderdale Terminal seemed a little seedy and slow moving. #2. We finally got on the ship and it was hotter than blue blazes and it stayed that way for about a week. The climate control button didn't work in any of the rooms so it ...
