This ship is too big, but the destinations are nice.

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

I chose this cruise because of the days in port versus the days at sea. The first whole day was at Nassau, Bahamas, then a day at sea, the third day was a Costa Maya, Mexico, the fourth at Cozumel and the final full day was at sea. The weather in late October/early November was rainy and sometimes stormy (except for the last two full days of the cruise). That said, there are a LOT of people ...

Oasis of the seas, nice but not quite up to expectations

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

The ship was beautiful but several areas were very overcrowded. The windjammer was very overcrowded and if you didn't go to breakfast early you were waiting in line. It seemed there were up charges for things everywhere. Way more than we were used to. Come areas had exceptional service such as our cabin steward and Sabor, but other areas were adequate, but not up to expectations. The server ...

We were invited to join some of our friends on this cruise and thought it would be an ideal chance to see how the ship would be for our family and their kids. On-board activities were geared to the younger crowd and seemed to be more than adequate. Watching everyone on the Flowrider was actually more entertaining then the shows in the evening. Dining was a big disappointment. The menu ...

Food choices were limited in Main dining. . Did not like that robes and ice bucket not provided in stateroom. Items were provided the next day when requested. Stateroom attendant and dining room staff very friendly however staff throughout the ship were not knowledgeable/informative when asked questions. The ship was very nice and clean. The swimming pool area did not seem overcrowded but still a ...

Consistently Inconsistent

I chose this cruise as it was a good entry level cruise. Everything seemed to have a up sell cost attached, and they were really pushing everything that was not included. Also the food that is included is best described as consistently inconsistent. I had french Onsion soup 4 times and every bowl was different. One night the bowl had lots of onions and a sprinking of cheese. Another night no ...

the show cats, the crew begged you to stay. with all the great high energy productions why this? the food had no taste and no change .we had one good dinner in the specialty italian resturant (but why should you have to pay for good food? most of the activeties in the day were on the promanode are to buy things. the staff was very friendly and the sailing was very smooth our cabin was nice and ...

Just took the Oasis of the Seas cruise to Labadee, Falmouth, Cozemel. 10/15-2016 The ship was very big and lots to see. It was very croweded. Lots of people at all pool areas. Eating at the windjammer was challenging. The formal dinning was a better experience. Johnny Rockets and Sorentos were disappointing. Breakfast at Johnny Rockets was real bad. Labadee we got ripped off by the Rum and ...

Just got off a 7 day eastern caribbean cruise on the Oasis of the seas. First off I think the ship is too big. Very immpressive with all the common areas. The balcony and cabins were as advertised. The Royal King bed was very comfortable. Our cabin steward was extremely freindly. She did an amazing job. We spotted her with an additionable tip. Now for the bad. Every one I spoke with said that ...

Modern, Big Ship, but Small on Service

this ship is very modern, but way too big. the problem is the crowds of people. not so much in the different venues on the ship, but all around the ship. when you get off on the dock, the throng of people is overwhelming. the locals cannot handle the masses. all the local stores, tours, & streets are jammed. the situation for dinner was terrible. there were always too many people waiting in ...

Our First bad experience was in Florida getting on the ship.. Not like our first experience 2 years ago at all. The workers were pushy and very rude. We were with a fairly large group and we all felt this way. Once on board, the air conditioning in our cabin wasn't cooling. We said something to the room attendant, but never heard back on the air. The room was dusty, the shower had something ...
