Great cruise director, but no covid policy enforcement
"Had to rent a car to get home due to the positive test and us not wanting to expose the airport or plane.I was only able to use our balcony for about an hour due to the smokers next door...."Read More

Love that RC is now on the west coast, so much closer to home. Booked as a mother daughter trip for her graduation. Upgraded as a surprise to a JS, even though not many perks apply to this level ship. Was not able to check in priority with the suites, was sent to main line, so one perk not honored. Check in guy said well this is close enough.Well that was a perk but ok. Once onboard you can tell ...

We heard that cruise lines were limiting capacity in light of COVID and the recent return of the cruise industry. Not wanting to fly and looking for a family vacation for our small family of 3 from Orange County, CA, we decided to book this Mexican Riveria cruise leaving from nearby Long Beach, California. In October, we received an email stating that the stateroom we reserved was not available ...

Navigator of the Seas May 8-21 Transatlantic Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Overall the cruise was great. The ship is dated but is a beautiful ship. Embarkation on first day was great. No issues at all. Food on ship was good. The buffet closed at 9pm which really wasn't good. If you have a late show, by the time you get out of the show, the buffet is closed which doesn't make any sense to me. They also didn't open up the whole Windjammer most of the time which was ...

We booked this trip mainly on the blowout price. $500 for a 13 night cruise in a decent cabin cant be beat. This was our first time with RCCL but we are seasoned cruisers having sailed with 5 other companies. This was out first and likely our last with RCCL. I got an incredible deal but If I had paid more I would have been disappointed. The good: Embarkation was very well organized The ...

This was my 5th Transatlantic. Transatlantic cruises are my husband & my favorite cruise. This was our 25 Royal Caribbean cruise but our first on Navigator of the Seas. We have been loyalist to RCCL..25 cruises on RCCL, 1 on Celebrity. We flew down the evening before and stayed at a Quality Inn with cruise port shuttle. Hotel was fair but shuttle was full and had no openings till 2pm, so ...

I have 25 sailings with Royal Caribbean, four are on the Navigator all of our sailings on her have been wonderful. Unfortunately our Transatlantic cruise was not up to their normal high standards. The odd things that happened on this cruise are not normal at all. I do have a few disappointments as well as high points to share. The guests on board were seasoned travelers, we notice ...

First and Last Time with Royal Carribean

This was our first experience with Royal Caribbean and it will be our last. We spoke with other passengers who were die hard "Royal" fans and they said that if this had been their first experience, they wouldn't be back. The cabin stewards and dining wait staff were wonderful. We really liked the "My time dining" option. The on-board activities were few, the mistakes on the "compass" were ...

This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise (Navigator of the Seas) after numerous cruises on Carnival and Princess. Our last cruise was five years ago. Embarkation was pretty painless; lines moved quickly. Overall: The ship just was refurbished and was in very good shape. The bars and restaurants were all clean. There were plenty of bars and restaurants. The promenade shopping area is very ...

As a Diamond member with RC, I was expecting a fantastic cruise as I have usually had. This cruise was far from being up to par on RC's side. Embarkation was a total disappointment. Diamond and Plus members were always offered a separate boarding area (one of the perks afforded for loyal service), but apparently not present at the pier to board for Navigator. I asked when I checked in and was ...
