This is Geiranger Norway and my husband, myself and My Mom.
If you can ever get to the Fjords in Norway please do. You won't regret it.

Norway is the cleanest place I have ever been. Pristine! It is also the most gorgeous. The fjords are so amazing and the colour is so brilliant. Flam and Olden along with Geiranger were the top three stops.

This was about my 10th cruise, but over a 25+ year period. So, while I am not a novice, I'm also not a regular cruiser. This was also my 3rd or 4th cruise on Royal Caribbean. With me was my girlfriend, who was on her first cruise. I chose this cruise based on price, timeframe and I wanted a 4 night cruise on a medium-large ship. It wasn't until a few weeks before our cruise that I learned this ...

First Time on RCI; A Trip to Remember!

This was by far one of our favorite cruises. We've only been cruising for 4 years but have done 7 to date on Princess, Celebrity and NCL...I guess making up for lost time! Many of our friends cruise RCI exclusively so we were so very excited to find this short trip with a fabulous itinerary. I don't know what the interior of the Jewel looked like before the recent renovation but I can tell you ...

I have traveled on over 10 cruises over the last few years on a variety of cruise lines (including one prior cruise on RCI). The ship is maintained in good condition and all public rooms are clean and attractively decorated. Deck 5 has a wrap around promenade for walking around the ship. The pools were great but they were drained at night and not heated.Entertainment was good overall. Shows ...

Jewel of the Seas - 10 day Western Caribbean

The Jewel is a beautiful ship and we found the common areas to be stylish and well appointed. The rock climbing wall, billiards and mini golf was free, which was nice. Our state room was quiet and spacious. Having cruised with Celebrity before, we were disappointed with the level of service overall. It seemed like the staff was poorly supervised and slow to respond. We had to literally flag ...

Overall we loved the cruise. We have been on the Jewel of the seas before and find it similar to the NCL Spirit. Our stateroom was an Aft with a narrow wrap around. Enough room on the balcony for 2 chairs and 1 lounger and a table. Our stateroom was a good size with a lot of storage space, 2 twin beds a couch , a desk area where the tv was and a large closet with plenty of room for both of our ...

I traveled on the Jewel of the Seas on the Dec 13-24, 2010 cruise to the Western Caribbean. In general, I found the cruise to be pleasant and would definitly cruise again, but perhaps on another ship. Knowing what I know now, I would be certain to inquire about the following for future cruises. As a single person, aged 60, I was hoping to meet other singles but found this to be a family or ...

My sister and I just completed a 10 day cruise from Fort Lauderdale on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Sea. We have travelled with RC to Alaska and with Celebrity on their 12 day Mediterranean cruise but this trip ranks first. During our trip we visited Labadee, Haiti, Royal Caribbean's private resort area, Cartagena, Colombia, Colon, Panama, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica and Georgetown, Grand Cayman. ...

We cruised on the Nov.22,2010 cruise to the western caribbean on the Jewel of the Seas. This ship had a lot of activities and wonderful food. The excursions were very interesting and successful. We had two Grand Suites, and the concierge was a SWEETHEART, taking very good care of me when I felt seasickness in the beginning of the trip. (I was surprised to find the ship to be quite WAVY in the ...

Background. This was our sixth cruise, fourth on RCI, the others were on NCL and Celebrity. It was our second cruise on Jewel, having sailed on a memorable 12 nighter to the Baltics and Russia in 2006. We travelled with two friends doing their first full cruise, and booked the entire RCI package including flights, transfers and hotels before and after the cruise. Getting There. The omens ...

We traveled with our 3 children, age 21, 16, and 11. Also, traveling with us were two other couples. We flew into Fort Lauderdale the day before our ship left and stayed at the Comfort Inn. They were very busy and had a hard time understanding the people that worked the front desk. Also, in the middle of the night the other couple that was staying there with us had security knowing on their door ...
