I am currently on the Jewel of the Seas on the TA cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Southampton. We flew to Miami on the 4th April with American Airlines. This was the first time flying with them and I was very impressed with the whole experience. There was more leg room than with other airlines we had used in the past and the boarding process was much more organised. The airline crew were very ...

With the “Quantum of the seas” fresh in my mind from a couple of weeks earlier, and being seriously disappointed with the comfort of the room and quality of the food on the Quantum, I decided, against my better judgement, to jump at a reasonable price for a ‘Single Balcony Stateroom’ for the two-week crossing on the Odyssey – transatlantic FORT LAUDERDALE to Rome. My general thinking was that ...

I was a bit apprehensive doing a transatlantic cruise. This was our 20th cruise, we have sailed the most on Celebrity Solstice size ships, NCl a bunch of times, 2x on Princess, 2x Carnival, 2x Holland America, Disney, Costa and twice before on Royal Caribbean on Allure and Oasis. We have done two other Celebrity cruises within the last year for comparison purposes. We chose this ship because ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We booked a Western Caribbean Cruise on Allure of the Seas in March 2022 primarily because of the Cruise with Confidence Guarantee, plus the fact that the ship was at reduced capacity. I had looked into other cruise lines that offer free WiFi and alcoholic beverages, but we've sailed with Royal Caribbean in the past and have always had a great experience. This cruise was no exception. ...

Because it’s new and whatever written about it But it’s a lye , first port was canceled we understand the situation but there should be some compensation , it was a waste of time to go on this ship , the entertainment program is very bad almost everyone we met on this ship is unhappy and devastated , the shops are very expensive , no regular shops for the important items needed , and all shops ...

We sailed on Wonder of the Seas on a 14-Day Transatlantic sailing. It departed Fort Lauderdale and we landed in Barcelona, Spain 14 days later. We also had three stops along the Spanish coast. It was our first transatlantic crossing and we really got to know the ship. Let me start off by saying that our experience on Wonder of the Seas was really fantastic. Every aspect of the long cruise was ...

This cruise was a replacement for the OVATION Hawaii cruise which was cancelled by Royal. It was the only cruise that fit the timeframe and ship size/experience... and I have to admit, I was curious. Everything was shiny and new. There was an incredible amount of activities, music, new venues to try, and fun entertainment! The cruise director (Michael) was the best I have ever experienced. His ...

A perfect ship for a Transatlantic

The ship is a literal floating city complete with neighborhoods, IE Boarwalk Central Park, Promenade. There is a ton of good enterainment at all times. The only reason is that the food was not nearly as good as on Celebrity APEX. You have to go to the specialty restaurants if you want a good meal. The food in the MDR is passable and thats it. Nice people serving you there. We had Lobster at ...

This trip was to celebrate my and my husbands retirements. We started planning about 5 years ago, and decided to begin our adventure with a 14 day repositioning cruise, so booked the RC Allure about 9 months in advance of the trip. We were surprised and excited to hear that RC was changing itinerary, and that we were being moved to the brand-new, largest ship in the world! We did a lot of ...

Great Oasis Class ship. Experienced her for 12 days just before she goes to dry dock for amp. Cant wait to see her in 2021 from Galveston. The Allure overall had the best most consistent and good quality food of any RCCL ship we have been on. The Sabor Grill was amazing. Considering we were on one of the very last ships sailing, the crews dedication to keeping the ship disinfected was ...
