The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

I chose RC because the port of call was the most convenient in term of cost of transportation. We boarded from Fort Lauterdale and from then had 3 days of bad weather. Leaving New England for some warmth did not materialize. Entertainment on the ship was very repetitious however the staff was very accommodating which made a big difference in being able to tolerate being on the ship most of the ...

We took the Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas a Vision Class Ship out of Norfolk, VA's Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center on June 3, 2010 for 9 days. I've heard other people complain about the parking downtown so we had a friend drop is off so we didn't have a problem with it. The worst part for us was making the turn into the Cruise Terminal; the City of Norfolk really needs to work ...

I have cruised many times in the past 10 years but not in the past 5 so I turned to my "preferred" cruise line when a quick and easy getaway was called for this past month. Living in South Florida I have a choice of itineraries and ships but chose the Enchantment for the length (5 days, not too long, not too short) and the fact that it only had one sea day -- I prefer to be out and about on ...

We recently returned from Enchantment of the Seas October 8th 4nt cruise. It was our very first on Royal Caribbean. We booked this cruise because it fit the time window we had available, we liked the itinerary (Key West and Cozumel), and the price was great! First off, let me say that we both really liked the ship. Enchantment is very, very pretty. I especially thought that the Orpheum theatre ...

A Much Needed Vacation for two extra hard working people

SUMMARY: This cruise was enjoyable because we needed the break. It would have been better with less kids on board and food that was really enjoyable. Embarkation and Disembarkation: We did this at the Port Everglades port (Fort Lauderdale). It is not my favorite because of limited parking but this time of year only two cruise ships are using the facility so parking was not an issue. Both arrival ...

My husband, adult daughter and I cruised on the Enchantment of the Seas in July/Aug 2009. The ports of call were Key West & Cozumel. Our experience on the ship was mixed. We loved the redesigned look, with the sweeping arches on the top of the ship. The look of the ship is lovely--very well done. Our cabin was our first disappointment. We booked a last-minute deal and got a great rate, but the ...

While this was not my first cruise, it was my first in almost 10 years.  On my first cruise, I was a little gunshy because at the end of it, I felt like I had been sold a bill of goods.  So I tried to be a little more informed and do more research before I booked, but because I booked at the last minute, I missed some important points.  Hence my feeling of de ja vu.When I booked the Royal ...

We sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas from 8/28 to 9/1/08. The original itinerary for this 4 night cruise was Fort Lauderdale, Key West, Cozumel, and sea day. However, due to Gustav, we went to Nassau instead of Cozumel. I have previously sailed on Norwegian, Carnival, Princess, and Royal Caribbean (Rhapsody of the Seas). Overall, RC is not on top of my list. However, Enchantment was ...

My family and I recently cruised on Enchantment of the Seas for a mini-family reunion. There were 14 in all traveling from California, Nevada, and Texas. Travelers ranged in age from 20 months to 66 years. I cannot speak for my entire family so this review represents my experience and that of my boyfriend. First, we booked our cruise through a travel agent but elected to set up our flights and ...

As this was our first cruise, and a celebration for our parents 50th wedding anniversary and our son's high school graduation, we were looking forward to a nice, relaxing trip on a big, beautiful ship, or so we thought. The ship leaves alot be desired in decor and despite its facelift a few years ago, it doesn't live up to the grandeur of the others that my parents have been on before. It is ...
