"Also, they could use more working soft serve machines on the ship as they were consistently out of order. An added plus on this cruise was that for a ship this size, boarding and disembarking were very fast...."Read More

Disappointing cruise - Shame on Royal Caribbean

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Allure of the Seas

The Solarium area was closed completely (including the Bistro and Samba Grill) for the first 4 days of the cruise. Additionally, the Beach Pool and access to the women’s restroom on the pool deck was blocked off the entire cruise while the pool was being refurbished. Once the Solarium opened back up, the hot tubs near the Solarium were closed. These closures caused overcrowding in the pool areas, ...

We had never been on one of Royal Caribbean's larger ships. The Allure of the Seas did not disappoint. We were especially impressed with the quality of the shows. Mamma Mia, the ice show and the water/diving show were all amazing. They will be etched in my mind forever! I loved the activities onboard and was pleasantly surprised that they offered pickleball each morning and provided ...

Worst of 5 cruises on the Allure and worst cruise ever on Royal Caribbean out of 30.

There were several issues, none of which were resolved even after talking with the manager. The bathroom door was broken but never got fixed. The place to put your shampoo and conditioner was broken and never got fixed. Got unlimited specialty dining and after the second burnt steak at Chops Grille, I gave up. Who ever is running the sound for the Ice Games show needs to turn the sound ...

Embarkation was quick and we were able to get right on the ship. We chose this cruise because we had cruised on this ship twice before and to join friends who had also cruised on this ship in the past. The itinerary was the same as most eastern Caribbean cruises but docked at San Juan at 2:00PM which suited us since we like to go for cappiccino coffee. The crew that we encountered were awesome! ...

Beautiful Ship & crew, but not superior cruise

Choose cruise for the Giant Ship experience for the first time... and luckily we sailed with only 60% capacity. Beautiful ship with good design and lots of jacuzzis, plenty of lounges and good gym and sports resources. Biggest let down was food. Love the crew service in the Main Dining room but the Windjammer is average cafeteria food... seems like mostly leftovers and not enough variety. ...

Here’s the TLDR version up front, then if you want details, they are provided below. THE GOOD: Great food, mostly great entertainment, exceptional staff, nice ship, nice room, excellent casino, CocoCay! Post COVID cruising is 85% of what it used to be and we had a blast. No masks were required on the ship as all travelers were mandated to be vaxed and tested prior to sailing. THE ...

Two seniors (70+) from AZ traveling without our cruise buds this time. Having taken the Oasis in 2009 my partner suggested following up with an Allure cruise to see if it were as enjoyable. Our last RC cruise was almost four years ago. Transport to FLL - With departure on a Saturday this meant a Friday flight to arrive the day before.A flight on a Friday to south Florida means high cost ...

First and foremost, our room steward Michael (12301) He was very understanding of our specific desires for the cabin, he exceeded in every way. He is patient, very friendly and extremely accommodating. Our main dining room waiter, Sylvan and assistant, Joanna, (table 324) were amazing. The entire main dining room experience was one of the very best we’ve ever had. The key word is ...

We booked this cruise over 1 1/2 years ago thinking Corona would be a distant memory. We almost cancelled since the positivity rate was close to an all time high. Glad we chose to go even though my sons gf tested positive and they had to cancel last minute. Ship had less than 2300 passengers who sailed! We saw many sea passes waiting for passengers who never got on board. Embarkation-Our ...
