Allure of the Seas horrible experience!!!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

I came on allure of the seas in March of 2019 and I had an amazing experience. I told my other daughter about our great experience and convinced her to go on the same cruise. But this experience was TERRIBLE as I joined her for my second cruise in less than a year!!!!!!! First off, our sailing locations were changed. In addition to that, I requested that we have a room in the middle of the ...

Bad moods and bad foods

Went for our 1st anniversary. Grouchy workers, we got yelled and snapped at us several times. The specialty restraunts just ignored us and wouldn't open the door. The specialty restraunts are very rude and treated us like we were too poor to be worth their time. We felt discriminated against. We had chunks of old food on our plates and silverware 3 times. I got food poisoning. They tried to scam ...

Terrible cruise and even worse service

We paid for a 7 night cruise on the Allure and due to hurricane Dorian the cruise was shortened to a 4 day cruise. This would not have been an issue if we had been properly compensated for the shortened cruise. Unfortunately not only did Royal Caribbean shorten the cruise but they cheated us by offering on-board credits that did not equal the loss in travel time or loss in ports. Originally the ...

We have taken our granddaughters on a cruise every summer for the past 10 years. This was our second time with them on the Allure and they loved every minute onboard! These large ships offer a lot of activities for teens ( they are 15 and 17) and as grandparents, we can keep busy doing our thing knowing they are having a wonderful time. We loved the RC app that allowed us to keep in touch, since ...

Underwhelming and Overpriced

I could not be more upset about our experience on this ship. Starting with the staff: Other than the gentleman that kept up our room and our main dining wait staff everyone was rude, and underwhelming. No one seemed to know where anything was on the ship and acted inconvenienced but our fairly simple requests or questions. I was referred to kiosks several times to try and figure it out myself. ...

Cruised Sept 23-30 Chose this cruise because it was my first time on Allure and the dates really worked for my schedule. The service model on this ship is broken and they could really use a week off to retrain everyone (not going to happen). I tried to write my experience in 3 categories. NEGATIVES 1. Upselling is out of control. Once you step foot on the ship you're being up-sold if you ...

Old Ship and uncaring staff

Wanted to go on a big ship and always liked Royal Caribbean. First 2 days on board the main upper deck dining room they only opened one side of the entire dining room (1/2). I asked a dining staff officer, he said they were getting ready for lunch. OK, so why was the same side closed during lunch. They lied and thought no one would notice. It gave me the impression of a lazy and uncaring ...

I wanted to try a large ship. I'm a cruise travel agent & I toured the ship and was super excited about going on the ship. This is what happened to me. We were on the sailing Dec17-24 on the Allure of the Seas. On day 6 I started feeling feeling the effects of gastrointestinal virus/norovirus. A paper was left in our cabin to inquire if anyone in our cabin got sick. I filled it out and heard ...

Our 25th anniversary celebration cruise was totally disappointing.

For our 25th anniversary, we decided to go on a week long cruise from Fort Lauderdale FL to West Caribbean because it seemed fun for us to spend time together. On our 3rd day, my daughter felt like she had slight fever and we didn't have the thermometer so I took her to the medical clinic and had her temperature taken to see if she's actually sick and needed resting before spreading it to others. ...

I am now spoiled. The Oasis class cruise ships are incredible. Every future cruise ship will be judged against this ship. My only criticism is that the pizza from sorrento's is not very good. I am a bit of a tech weenie. and this ship had the best internet service of any ship. definitely get the internet service(VOOM). Turn on WIFI calling, put your phone in airplane mode, turn on ...
