There were several issues, none of which were resolved even after talking with the manager. The bathroom door was broken but never got fixed. The place to put your shampoo and conditioner was broken and never got fixed. Got unlimited specialty dining and after the second burnt steak at Chops Grille, I gave up. Who ever is running the sound for the Ice Games show needs to turn the sound ...

I’ve been on Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas this week and was highly disappointed to find that one of the complimentary restaurants included in my cruise fare had been bought out by a group for the entire week and closed to the public. I cruised on the sister ship last year and loved the Solarium Bistro and Samba Grill and really looked forward to eating there on this cruise. It is so close to ...

I came on allure of the seas in March of 2019 and I had an amazing experience. I told my other daughter about our great experience and convinced her to go on the same cruise. But this experience was TERRIBLE as I joined her for my second cruise in less than a year!!!!!!! First off, our sailing locations were changed. In addition to that, I requested that we have a room in the middle of the ...

This cruise was a honeymoon gift from my in-laws. The first issue we had was with my husband's luggage. The airport temporarily lost his suitcase, but then notified us that it was still in the airport. We had already embarked early and had several more hours before departure. My husband went to the customer service desk and offered to just get a taxi and get the luggage himself. The lady at ...

Underwhelming and Overpriced

I could not be more upset about our experience on this ship. Starting with the staff: Other than the gentleman that kept up our room and our main dining wait staff everyone was rude, and underwhelming. No one seemed to know where anything was on the ship and acted inconvenienced but our fairly simple requests or questions. I was referred to kiosks several times to try and figure it out myself. ...

Cruised Sept 23-30 Chose this cruise because it was my first time on Allure and the dates really worked for my schedule. The service model on this ship is broken and they could really use a week off to retrain everyone (not going to happen). I tried to write my experience in 3 categories. NEGATIVES 1. Upselling is out of control. Once you step foot on the ship you're being up-sold if you ...

Old Ship and uncaring staff

Wanted to go on a big ship and always liked Royal Caribbean. First 2 days on board the main upper deck dining room they only opened one side of the entire dining room (1/2). I asked a dining staff officer, he said they were getting ready for lunch. OK, so why was the same side closed during lunch. They lied and thought no one would notice. It gave me the impression of a lazy and uncaring ...

Travel Agent & Over 55 Cruises.... Avoid RCL and especially the ALLURE

I've been on the Allure 3-times in the past couple of years: twice in the past six months. The food is luke-warm and tasteless. If you are diabetic, then avoid this cruise. Windjammer and leisure dining locations only offer "No sugar added" lemon and chocolate chip cookies, which taste like glue. On a couple of occasions, there was a second option: "No sugar added" mouse. They don't even put ...

Ship was recommended a colleague. The Allure of the Seas is a fantastic ship with gorgeous venues like Central Park, Board Walk and a Promenade that are spectacular! It is extremely easy to navigate given it's size. Restaurants offer exceptional meals and service. We dined mostly in the ICON Restaurant, and the experience every night was top notch!!! The service staff was very professional ...

It started poorly from the time before of boarding until the last morning, 1. They dont honor referral credits to all they owe them too 2. one word misleading 3. ports terribly unsafe had knife pulled on me in jamaica. Keep in mind I never signed up for this port but bought excursion for that port once RC changed ports to green grotto and water fall climbing turned out to be locals ...
