Worst cruise I’ve ever taken. Disappointed

As a long time RCCL cruiser this is our third time on this ship. We figured we couldn’t go wrong since the other times were great. It all started with our Anniversary package not being in our room. The very cheapest of decorations were up, but no champagne or strawberries. We were told it to wait until the end of the night and it “should” show up. By the next morning we made our first trip to the ...

The Adventure of the Seas is a good choice for destinations, but limited sea days. Affordable for couples trip. We booked a Junior suite and it was wonderful with lots of space and cabin steward was great. He was attentive without being obtrusive. The Main dining room food and staff was very good with theme nights. Windjammers food was very good, without overcrowded atmosphere. Food was never ...

Embarkation was a breeze and we were able to make our mandatory muster station visit upon boarding. We chose this sailing for the 9 night itinerary with 5 ports. St. Thomas was cancelled because of medical emergency with a diversion to Nassau, but that happens and we wish the patient well. We were Impressed with how quickly the port taxes and shore excursion refunds appeared in our online ...

Staff, service food and entertainment were exceptional. Hit some very windy days and one rainy day that limited poolside activities. This was my second time aboard the Adventurer and I forgot how confining the balcony was. The major negative of our trip was the condition of the ship and maintenance. Rugs, chairs and sofas were not the cleanest and resembled the coat on a Dalmatian. Windows were ...

Ship too old

We chose it because of Port and destinations. The ship is old and it shows all over. The MDR staff was excellent but tablecloths were stained and you could see black marks on the table through them. After the first night our table was exchanged for another one. Casino staff must have been in training. Windjammer staff was terrible! Entertainment was a bright spot! The Islands were awesome and ...

Adventure of the Seas was okay

We chose this cruise for it's itinerary. The days at sea combined with Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire was very appealing. We had not been on Royal Caribbean in quite a few years and wanted to give it another try. We were satisfied with the cruise but nothing was so good that we would plan on returning to Royal Caribbean. The ship felt so small. The public spaces were always crowded and we had ...

We sail early January each year for our wedding anniversary. Best gift is time together and throw in warm weather--my idea of Heaven. Embarkation was quick and easy. We were on ship by 11am. Adventure was what we expected..very clean and sparkling. Signage was good. We quickly made our way to the Windjammer buffet. Food was ok. Crew were extremely personable and helpful. Our inside ...

Very solid ship despite pushing 20 years of age, above-average in most places

This eight night Southern Caribbean route left from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - one of the best US ports in my experience - so I already had particularly high expectations. This itinerary had a slightly more uncommon itinerary as it had Bonaire in the lineup alongside Aruba and Curacao, rather than Aruba, Curacao, and some other port of call. Embarkation went exceptionally ...

This Was One Great Cruise!

This was a family cruise set in motion by my 86 year old dad, who wanted to cross visiting Aruba off of his bucket list. There were 8 of us altogether; my wife and I, my dad, my brother, my cousin and his wife and a second cousin and his girlfriend. We boarded the Adventure of the Seas at Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale. Embarkation was smooth, and we were on board the ship in less than an ...

My husband, our two sons (ages 8 and 10 years old), his aunt, two friends of mine and I all went on the Adventure of the Seas from December 7-15, 2019. We had been on several Royal ships before and our favourite one was the Allure. We chose to ‘downsize’ to the Adventure to allow us to visit the ABC islands. First off, we cannot say enough great things about the islands – they are by far our ...
