1-10 of 62 Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas Cruise Reviews for Singles to the Eastern Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary -- Coco Cay, Tortola & St. Croix. We had never been to those Virgin Islands and we love the Halloween cruises. The cruise director, the activities director and all of the activities staff kept this ship alive and full of fun. The Canadian Captain was very experienced and had a wonderful sense of humor. All the staff were friendly and upbeat.

I don’t even know where to start. But first off I will say a small majority of the staff was very welcoming. I chose this cruise because it was the only one around my birthday. Upon arrival my room wasn’t ready. House keeper was in the midst of cleaning my room. Coming into the room there was stains in the carpet as well as on the couch. We found mold in our shower. Also the balcony wasn’t that ...
I wanted to try Royal Caribbean and wanted an Eastern Caribbean cruise for my family of 30. Dates and itinerary worked out fine for us. We had a fantastic time and the week went by too quickly. There were many positives, but also some negatives. Embarkation process was well organized, smooth, and we were quite impressed. Our suite was nice and the rest of the family enjoyed Wide Spacious ...
We did a 7 night cruise to the USVI, BVI, and Bahamas. The ship overall does need to be updated but does have a lot of amenities. The staff were all nice, friendly and helpful. The buffet food was just ok but Chops and Giovanni’s restaurant were good! On our floor deck 8.. there were a lot of kids running through the halls and slamming doors constantly. I did notify our state room attendant and ...
The Adventure of the Seas is a good choice for destinations, but limited sea days. Affordable for couples trip. We booked a Junior suite and it was wonderful with lots of space and cabin steward was great. He was attentive without being obtrusive. The Main dining room food and staff was very good with theme nights. Windjammers food was very good, without overcrowded atmosphere. Food was never ...
Embarkation was a breeze and we were able to make our mandatory muster station visit upon boarding.
We chose this sailing for the 9 night itinerary with 5 ports. St. Thomas was cancelled because of medical emergency with a diversion to Nassau, but that happens and we wish the patient well. We were Impressed with how quickly the port taxes and shore excursion refunds appeared in our online ...
As a long time RCCL cruiser this is our third time on this ship. We figured we couldn’t go wrong since the other times were great. It all started with our Anniversary package not being in our room. The very cheapest of decorations were up, but no champagne or strawberries. We were told it to wait until the end of the night and it “should” show up. By the next morning we made our first trip to the ...
This was our third cruise having sailed on Norwegian and Celebrity previously. We were very pleased with those too but the focus on customer service was excellent on this ship.
Every evening Desti went table to table in MDR to inquire about food and service experience. There was someone in Windjammer who did the same. The food was excellent in both venues. I appreciated the staff in Windjammer ...
My Dad (84) and I (43) had a great father/son cruise onboard the Adventure! My Dad stayed for almost a week at the Fountainbleau in Miami, and I joined him for the last couple of days. This was a very nice hotel, but I'd be happier spending half as much and staying more toward South Beach in a boutique hotel that includes breakfast (such as the Shepley, where we stayed last year).

This was our fourth cruise on Adventure and 46th with Royal Caribbean.
We had a Junior Suite, 1646, port side, deck 10.
Room was splendid with ample storage and closet space, a welcome change from the tight surroundings on Empress the week before.
Dining was Deck 3, my time dining. Food was good not great. The soups were generally outstanding. The second formal night had small lobster ...
