Not up to par

As a retired couple, we have the time to cruise frequently. In the past we have returned to Voyager many times. To our surprise, our December 2010 cruise was a big disappointment. Things have changed, and not for the better. On the positive side, the ship looks good and is constantly being cleaned and polished. The new entertainment company is far superior to the former troop. The staff ...

Disappointing

We're retired and we enjoy sailing. After over 150 nights on Regent, we've considered it our favorite and we always anticipate our next Regent cruise. Sadly, things are not what they once were. The first hint that things had changed happened at embarkation. In the past we arrived at the pier and walked onto the ship. In December 2010, we arrived and were guided upstairs to be seated where we ...

Something Odd Is Happening At Regent

As a long time cruiser (30+ voyages) and a frequent cruiser with Regent, I was excited to try the Seven Seas Voyager, the only ship in the fleet I had not yet sailed. We decided on the Voyager's 10-day Christmas cruise visiting the ports of the Eastern Caribbean. We have always been pleased with Regent's product, but this time things were a bit off. We had a great time, but Regent will need to ...

It was a delightful trip and interesting to be away over Christmas. I flew down to Florida and stayed at the Hilton on the Beach in FLL; on the 18th we boarded the Voyager. I must add, that for a chain hotel, the Hilton was delightful and had not only a lovely dining area overlooking the ocean and pool, but great food. I was pleasantly surprised. Santa left us cookies and candies and a lovely ...

Short Voyage

Our first cruise on the Voyager was full of surprises. Starting with the email notice from Regent that due to propulsion system problems our cruise would be shortened from 7 days to 6 days and eliminate the Guatemala port. Regent allowed a refund for the missed day and a shipboard credit which wasn't easy to spend given the few shore excursion options and the very expensive on board shop ...

Were Our Expectations Too High?

This was our third cruise and our second with RSSC. This was a cruise that failed to meet our expectations, with many highs and too many lows. in fact, we did not have enough room on the feedback card to list the points that we felt needed correction. Among the positive features were the cleanliness and decor of the ship. The cabins are large, and the bathrooms are generously appointed with ...

DW and I took the New's Year's Cruise out of FT Lauderdale on RSSC Voyager. It was all-inclusive for drinks and speciality restaurants. That in itself makes it worthwhile if you hate that tipping and signing little scraps of paper all day and night long. Embarkation was a breeze at FFL, 20 mins we were from the airport and onboard the ship. They porter takes your bag at the curb the next time you ...

We sailed from Fort Lauderdale on the 28th November, 2005, on Radisson Voyager, what an experience. From the check in at the pier to our check out on the 5th December 2005 everything could not have been more enjoyable. We arrived at 1pm to be met by a lady who said just leave your bags we will take care of them and then we were shown to check in, no one there, we sailed, pardon the pun, straight ...

Review of Cruise aboard MS Seven Seas Voyager November 2003 My wife and I have previously cruised with Holland America (Maasdam & Veendam), Celebrity ( Mercury) and Cunard (QE2). In March of 2003 we were invited on a pre-inaugural cruise on the brand new Radisson Seven Seas Voyager. We were so impressed that we booked for a one week Western Caribbean cruise in November 2003. We flew to Florida ...
