Liked the itinerary. Had been to the Caribbean, but not to the ABC islands. The cruise exceeded my expectations. Pros: Cruise director. Matt O. Oh my gosh, he was so entertaining, one of the most energetic, entertaining folks I have ever met. He was everywhere. He taught dance lessons, exceeded shows, games indoor and out. And he was so funny, just watching and listening to him was ...

We just returned from our 8 night Southern Caribbean cruise on the Royal Princess. It was a great vacation. It was our first time sailing on Princess after having previously only traveled on the Disney Cruise line. I can't say that Princess delivers quite the experience Disney does but I can't justify the extra money for Disney. It's just not that much better unless you are traveling with small ...

We have cruised a few times the beginning of November to enjoy some warm weather before the cold winter sets in. It was our fourth time of the Royal, 11th Princess cruise. Embarkation went smoother than we thought as we were delayed due to the Noro. We were in our stateroom by 1:30 losing about two hours. The best part of this cruise was the entertainment. The shows Colors of the World ...

While on the cruise we did not have the best experiences a few times 1) When we arrived on board and did the spa tour we double check our time and confirmed our couples massage for Saturday November 10, 2018 for 11:30 am. When we arrived at the spa on Saturday at 11:10 am to check in we were informed it was now scheduled for noon and when I explained we confirmed on arrival (the day before) ...

We love the ABC Islands and visiting each port! If you have never been I would highly recommend traveling down south and enjoying a visit to all 3 spots. Embarkation was slowed down due to NoroVirus on previous cruise. Was a long line since we all waited to board but got on without an issue and they did an excellent job sanitizing the ship for us! We love the class of ship, was our ...

Got a great deal and couldn’t pass it up. Definitely an older crowd, but there were some families with young children. All very well behaved. Arrived at the cruise port at 11:00 and were on the ship in less than 30 minutes. We had balcony room with an obstructed view, mid ship. There was a lifeboat in front of the balcony so could not see down, but we still had a nice view. Balcony is ...

We booked this cruise as one last final family vacation before my brother leaves the country for two years. We had such a blast and couldn't have asked for a better time. HOTEL: We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale and stayed at the Best Western Oceanside Inn. The accommodations were fine. We booked the hotel based on the fact that it was cheap and on the beach, however, because Tortuga was ...

We choose this cruise for the price (received a good deal in email) , for the new ports that we haven't done before and also to try the Royal Princess (3600 passengers). All this was perfect, but we wewe impressed by the service we received from everyone! Starting with embarkation, we were directed smoothly and promptly (we had priority check-in), no fuss anywhere! Our cabin (balcony Aloha ...

The Royal is impressive but lacks a full length covered promenade which we enjoy for walking in inclement weather or hot sun. The ship seemed very stable to us but a new to cruising couple on a higher floor felt movement. I advised them to book future cabins lower and nearer the center of the ship. One other drawback is we had to walk thru the smokey casino at times. Food and ...
