It was our first time sailing on Princess after having previously only traveled on the Disney Cruise line. We have cruised a few times the beginning of November to enjoy some warm weather before the cold winter sets in. It was our fourth time of the Royal, 11th Princess cruise. We love the ABC Islands and visiting each port! If you have never been I would highly recommend traveling down south and enjoying a visit to all 3 spots.
Embarkation was slowed down due to NoroVirus on previous cruise. Was a long line since we all waited to board but got on without an issue and they did an excellent job sanitizing the ship for us!

Got a great deal and couldn’t pass it up. Definitely an older crowd, but there were some families with young children. All very well behaved.

The Royal is impressive but lacks a full length covered promenade which we enjoy for walking in inclement weather or hot sun.
The ship seemed very stable to us but a new to cruising couple on a higher floor felt movement. I advised them to book future cabins lower and nearer the center of the ship.
One other drawback is we had to walk thru the smokey casino at times.
