Chose this cruise because we wanted to see St. Petersburg without flying in or out of Russia. Mission accomplished, However, a Big BUT. The ships shore excursions are Way overpriced and just not very good, with the exception of the Normandy D Day Landing Beaches Excursion. Was very overpriced, but was a very good tour. This was my second cruise with Princess and my second Transatlantic cruise. The Regal is a beautiful ship but the way it is designed is loud and most public places very crowded. I had a mid-ship balcony stateroom and very happy with the location. Room adequate but the balcony very small only room for 2. Loved being close to the elevators however, always crowded and had to wait. No stairs ...
