Undercooked meatballs from the Lido. This is unsafe, and the senior staff didn't bother to remove the tray from the buffet.

"It's interesting that the Princess app used for ordering drink service does not allow that feature to work in the Theater. The popularity of the drink package included with Princess Plus means that many people are needing more frequent drink service, far more than the small bar staff can provide quickly...."Read More

Give Regal a pass for another Princess ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

Least favourite of Princess ships. Food is of poorer quality even though the dinner menu is the same on all Princess ships. ventilation system is extremely poor. Did they forget about COVID on this ship. Had many issues on ship but these were addressed quickly ie. shower didn’t work, food was cold in dining room and dirty balcony with broken glass. I am now officially turned off Princess cruises. ...

Great cruise on the Regal Princess

Just got home from this cruise. I have to say it was perfect. No complaints. Embarkation was crazy, but nothing Princess could have done about that. They were 2 hrs late getting into Ft Lauderdale and then had a surprise full Coast Guard inspection dropped on them at the last minute. There was a definite lack of communication about the delay. Some people got emails and let the Facebook ...

we did the transatlantic on the regal from Rome to FLL last fall. It was so good that we booked up this crossing while on board. the crew is INCREDIBLE! The service everywhere on the ship was OUTSTANDING! We had club class dining ,with our mini suite, and to us ....it was perfect. The advantage of immediate seating at all meals and the quality of the dining staff left us extremely satisfied ...

Smoking in casino ruined an otherwise great cruise

Gave high marks for the ship and the cruise in general. The service was great, I always found the crew friendly, smiling and helpful. My cabin steward was outstanding and I also found my favorite bar steward. In the main dining room they were mostly great.... there will always be some who are better than others, but I was always aware of how hard these people work and long days. It's pretty ...

Regal Princess – Transatlantic April 2023

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

This is our 21th cruise since the restart with seventeen on Princess. This trip took a more northerly course that cooled down the temperatures by day three. With none of the pools being heated (did not check the pool at the back of the ship), pools were colder than usual and not usable after day three. Food was better than on previous cruises with some minor changes to the menu selections. ...

Hello Sixty!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Regal Princess

We chose this cruise by date only, as we were celebrating my 60th birthday. We are most loyal to Princess with the caveat that cruising has changed since the pandemic started. Embarkation was mostly quick and easy. We were blue lane, but it was short--we were second in line. The rep didn't seem too familiar with the program and struggled to enter the information in the system (it was literally ...

First time on Princess, and probably not the last!

Back in the early 2000s, I got hooked on cruising like a fish on a line. But then I took a break for a while. Fast forward to April 2023, and I'm back at it again with my third cruise in the last two years, this time aboard the Regal Princess - my very first trip with Princess Cruises. As a solo cruiser, I sailed with Virgin Voyages in December 2021, and then again in December 2022 on HAL's Nieuw ...

This was our 18th Princess cruise, our last one being on Regal five years ago. We traveled in a Club Class mini-suite on deck 14. Here are some brief observations: 1. Embarkation in Ft. Lauderdale: Easy-peasy. We drove to the port, dropped off our luggage at curbside, parked in the Heron garage, and were checked in without any trouble at all. Using the Medallion along with facial ...

I have been on 11 cruises, not a lot but a fair amount. I have sailed on Carnival, MSC, Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Princess. My past voyage on Princess was spectacular which is why we chose to use the line again. As we planned our family vacation we knew we needed a ship that would appeal to my 80 year old parents and my 28 and 29 year old Daughters. So we did our research and ...

55 Years Later Dreams Come True!

I planned this cruise when I was 14 and he was 15. When he asked me to go steady…I said “Yes” and if we are still together at 50 years we are going on “The Love Boat”. Just back from the Regal Princess! Dreams do come true! Embarkation was a breeze. Our cabin L2** on the Lido deck was ideal! Just around the corner from the buffet, pools and activities! Our steward Shanal kept everything in top ...
