1-10 of 152 Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) Princess Emerald Princess Cruise Reviews
Wanted full passage Panama canal cruise and Emerald Princess delivered. I found this to be a mostly wonderfully cruise with fabulous entertainment and games galore. While it was his last assignment on Emerald, Fernando the cruise director was everywhere helping to entertaining guests with games and contests. The shows were great,, especially the premiere of ROCK OPERA. Balcony cabin on Baja 11 ...
Overall this was a good cruise, the ship though needing some attention is in good shape, we had no major complaints about the food which in general was good. Our room steward worked hard to keep our room clean and we had no complaints about the service. We enjoyed our trip through the Panama Canal and the stops we made during the trip. The shows in general were ok, everyone on board seemed to ...
I've sailed Emerald Princess in 2019 on a Mediterranean cruise, and 5 other cruises. Agree with PP, the portions are smaller, but I prefer the smaller size, but there is noticeable cost cutting going on in the kitchen. There were 2 surf and turf nights, since one night was Valentine's day. Numerous people on board told us the Crown Grill and Sabatini's were not worth the cost, so we canceled our ...
The service was wonderful. The amount of quests was very low so we had a lot of crew members and not many quests. I liked some of the advantages of the Medallion class service.. They encourage you to order from your medallion but if you order a drink from you medallion it comes from room service and not one of the waiters for the bar. You may never get it. Room service ordering was great if ...
We picked this transitional cruise because the 6 days at sea gave us plenty of time to relax.
Embarkation was chaotic. We had used the Medallion app to provide all required info well ahead of time. We were given an 11:30 check-in time. We found that the Priority line for boarding (Platinum and Elite level passengers) was significantly longer and slower than the other line. No explanation given ...
The exception to the quality of this cruise was the internet. I have over 600 days on Princess, and I have grown up with the internet service beginning with 2 computers in a closet about 25 years ago. This time, the internet was available, but the speed was the worst imaginable. You are used to a speed of over 100mbs. The speed of this connection was 5KBS. It would load email if you left it on ...
We chose this cruise because of the ports and were very satisfied. We did not enjoy the My-Time dining and are hoping they will change back to early and late dining. We made our request for the same time each night, with the same people. The app erased all that on e we got on the ship. We had one couple each night and the rest changed each night and came at different times. We had to wait until ...
This was the 3rd time we attempted to go on this circle cruise. There was a group of 6, my husband, myself, my sister & her husband & another couple who are friends we met about 5 years ago on another Caribbean cruise. We had two main reason for picking this particular cruise.....the number of islands we would visit & that 2 of the guys would be able to go scuba diving on 5 of those. ...
Cruise was fine til I broke 2 toes after I fell transitioning from the Hot tube to the deck. there was an area that was uneven and there were no wet floor signs. I think the deck is slippery and I have very good balance and haven't fallen on over 20 years. Medical staff were great but I was in a boot and wheelchair for the rest of the cruise. Dinning staff were excellent and staff in general ...
I have been on Princess cruises in the past, before Covid, so will detail the differences brought about by Covid precautions.
This cruise took place at a transitional point in the post-Covid/Omicron resumption. There were about 1600 passengers on board, half of the normal capacity. Three days into the cruise, per a change in CDC recommendations, the rules changed from masks required in all ...
