I won't use Princess again. Always trouble with time lines including being crammed into a room before embarkation. 3 of 5 tenders were down for Panama excursions which left little time on land, 7:30 am early disembarkation turned into 8:00am.
Food in MDR started out fine but got worse - poor cuts of meat.

This is not the company that we knew, our previous cruise was 5 years prior to this and we have 16 Princess cruises to measure this disaster against, We chose the cruise which was over Christmas and New Year going through the Panama Canal.

Desired a short cruise over the Christmas season. However we chose a large ship with a large passenger capacity and the ship was completely full. Tours were poorly organized. Two words to describe it, below expectations. Our cabin steward was very efficient with what he could be in control of but we never got bathrobes! He can't supply what he does not have. The title says it all. Lots of Spring Breakers doing some serious drinking--boys and girls. Glad no one went over board. It was one big party for them......ill leave it there.
Our state room (Riveria deck) never got cool, always felt stuffy. Cabin steward did great job. Many workers seemed overwhelmed by the number of Spring Breakers and just let things go.

I have sailed princess crown x 2, ruby, then the emerald. This was an 8 day cruise on the Eastern Caribbean for New Years! I would have thought that champagne for the new years toast would have been complimentary-- but that was not the case.
Even in sea days, the decks lacked lounge chairs set up despite having a full ship. People were fighting over the chairs that were available.

Boy, what disappointment.
We have sailed many, many times on Princess, as well as a few time each on Royal Caribbean and Carnival and once on Holland America. We have always preferred Princess because between these 4 lines, their food was always vastly superior, but no more.
