1-10 of 95 Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) Princess Emerald Princess Cruise Reviews
Sailing through the Panama Canal was checked off my bucket list.
We selected this cruise through a local travel agent (not our regular agency) because of the itinerary and the deal. We got a mid-ship, port side balcony cabin on B (11th) deck. This was our first Princess cruise and we came away agreeing that it would probably be our last. But first, I will say some of what we did like about our ...
I booked this cruise for my daughters 30th and my husbands 60th birthdays. When we were first boarding I noted to my daughter how many young people were onboard. Boy, was that an understatement! It was spring break mayhem! LINES for a drink at the pool bar was crazy. Each kid had a card with unlimited drinks and they ordered the most complicated ones (so they would have the most booze) and ...
The Emerald was in great shape. We had concerns after reading post dry-dock complaints. But we experiencd no issues. Our balcony cabin on Baja aft, was the quietest cabin we have experienced in 8 cruises! The new bed was great...more storage then in any other cabin in our cruise experience. Water, plumbing, A/C was all fine. Room steward Kim was excellent.
The public spaces were all updated and ...

We were looking forward to trying a "better" cruise line. I don't think we got one.
Cruising remains a very cost effective way to travel, and we enjoyed the balcony on our stateroom. The ...
We decided to book a quick getaway cruise for Valentine's with no kids. We prefer Holland America but needed a shorter trip and Princess had a great deal on this trip so we decided to try them again. We sailed Island Princess three years ago and really enjoyed it but really prefer smaller ships.
The embarkation process was great. We got in and waited in a short line and then basically walked ...
Overall, we enjoyed the last minute 4 night cruise to Turks and Caicos, but there were some hiccups.
Embarkation was flawless. Arrived at the pier at 1:30 and on the ship at 1:45. Disembarkation was a disaster... more later
We chose anytime dining and regretted it every evening. Tables for two were hard to come by and the quickest quoted wait time was 20 minutes. We experimented every ...
Just arrived home from a 5 night cruise on the Emerald, departed Feb 6, 2016. The ship is lovely, the food just ok, entertainment we gave a D. The best place for wine lovers is Vines..go see Cherry..she is a wonderful host and very hard worker. We were in cabin A533, first time in an inside cabin and it was great. New comfy beds, clean, cabin steward did a good job, no a/c or plumbing problems. ...
I have been on the Emerald a few years ago. With the Ruby, they were me favorite ships.
The only physical changes was on the Restaurant site.
Sabatini is no more, sniff. It was replaced with a higher prices Share Restaurant.
They also added an extra price Salty Dog Restaurant venue in the Wheelhouse Bar ?
The entertainment is continuously going downhill at Princess, there was one ...
Jan. 30/16: Traffic was backed up getting from Ft. Lauderdale airport to the cruise port. Check in was approx. 40 minutes before we were in our stateroom. We went for a bite to eat and when we got back to our stateroom the luggage was in our room. Our stateroom was on Caribe deck and we had no issues with water, toilets not working etc.
Room: Our inside cabin was laid out very well and the guy ...
We sailed EMERALD PRINCESS December 19-27, 2015, in Caribe 742 to Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire. Caribe 742 is the last stateroom on the port side. The balcony is partially covered and is slightly wider than all the other port-side cabins due to the ship’s design at the back. We’ve cruised during Thanksgiving and New Year’s, but this was our first Christmas cruise. Prior to booking, we read about ...
