I chose this cruise last Fall because of the ports, length of time in port, and the sailing date. I had sailed on the Crown Princess in 2019 and was happy with that experience.
By the time we sailed much had changed. The Coronavirus was escalating slowly when we left Port Everglades so our major change was skipping Princess Cays and a revision to our itinerary.

I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I was pleasantly surprised that only one of five ports had other ships in port, so the ports were not overcrowded.
The ship's crew was warm, welcoming, and performed like a well-oiled machine. They were entertaining, caring, and made us feel special.

We chose this cruise because we enjoyed a similar Princess Cruise through the Panama Canal and area. We were disappointed in this one. The ship really shows its age--rust on the balcony, scratches on the elevator doors, worn carpets.

Princess Medallion system is excellent, fast embarkation, easy room access, order stuff right from your phone app.
Ship based internet is now reliable and has good speed.
Caribbean in February is awesome. 85f and sunny every day is just what we were looking for.
