Choose the cruise based on the itinerary. Cruising Antarctica was amazing. Really enjoyed all 34 days. Friendly,helpful staff. The food was great but did get a bit redundant.
The captain was engaging and the naturalists we had on board were knowledgeable and entertaining. The interior is getting a little dated and the jokes about the tiny showers are more fact than anything else.

We had a great time. Embarkation was smooth. Even though the ship was full it never seemed crowded. We had the last port side balcony on the 8th deck. We were able to see not only out to the side but also to the back. This was great when going through the canal. I have checked a major item off my bucket list. The Coral Princess is not a large ship but was big enough to accommodate all of our needs. The mini-suite we had was big enough to meet our needs. When you read everything about the tours it is not accurate. They say no steps, but they do not tell you that it is uneven ground and steep inclines.
All the pools were 5 feet or more. So you could not walk in water or exercise.
