1-10 of 224 Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) to the Western Caribbean Princess Cruise Reviews
Pockets of good and bad service made the cruise average or less.
Good to excellent were the stateroom attendant, bar tenders, casino staff, Steamers upcharge venue (add the lobster and crab for $12 more), and Ray Coussins on piano! Poor were the dining rooms for spotty service and errors in billing drinks; at least the food was good... Also the Ocean Medallion system did not work well except ...
I've been to 7 cruises and this was my first with Princess. This was by far the best. Service was impeccable. Fast service in the main dining room unlike other cruises I've been too. The cabin steward was always there with a smile making sure that all was perfect. The entertainment was top notch. The show Bravo was excellent, real Broadway quality.
That was the only cruise in the world that had ...
Never have we cruised with Princess before, and believe me we will never cruise with them again. We had the understanding that this ship had very recently been refurbished. Once in board, we saw little evidence of this. The ship is very OLD AND TIRED.
Dining on board was not good. We ate in the main dining with a 7:30 seating. We had a large group of 14 and had thought we could all sit ...
I enjoy the Club Class amenities. The Mini-Suites are centrally located on the ship. The Club Class Dining is exceptional. Quieter area. Nice linens. Excellent attention from wait staff. Extra menu items are always a nice added choice.
The Caribbean Princess is a lovely ship, but once you sail on the newer class; Royal, Regal, and soon the Sky, the older ships aren't quite a elegant. However, ...
This was an adult only trip with me and my boyfriend We’ve always traveled on mega ships with kids and we wanted to try this ship out but knew that this was not something for the kids as they’re used to mega RCCL ships with lost of entertainment.
The embarkation was super fast and smooth, our room was even ready when coming onboard! (That’s a nice surprise becaus RCCL makes you wait for the ...
Medallion embarkation started the cruise off strong. But Medallions didn't exactly work as advertised. Had to download 4 apps to get full use and some in our party couldn't download and/or us all of them so we were limited in functionality. Can't add shipmates to your medallion if they are minors not in your cabin (privacy issues) yet all the cabins list every occupant even if they are ...
Good, but not stellar for our first large ship cruise. While we were impressed with friendliness of the staff, general professionalism it had shortcomings in terms of a party boat and lacking the expected amenities and relaxing ambience for adults.
Also a number of experienced cruisers commented that this did not rank highly in the Princess ship lineup or comparing to some of the other lines. ...
Caribbean Princess is a lovely and clean ship. Embarkation went quickly and smoothly with the new medallions. We enjoyed the shore excursions, a private beach in Roatan and Mayan Ruins in Belize City. The staff was pleasant. Our room steward and waiters in the dining room were very friendly and did a nice job. Our 2 children loved the kids club and the nightly shows in the princess theatre. ...
I choose Princess Cruise line to try a different cruise line.
The food was great. The crew members were great.
Just make sure you lock your stuff up. My husband had his sun glasses stolen from the room.
The maid re-hung the dirty towels.
I was promised an upgrade and it was not honored. I coordinated and planned for over twenty people and didn’t even received a ...
Loved the itinerary on this cruise - Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize, Cozumel. The ship has been refurbished and is very nice. Splurge for dinner at the Crown Grill, it's well worth it! We stayed in the family suite, which was great. Note: if booking this suite, it DOES have two upper berths in the interior room. I had a hard time figuring this out before we went. So the suite actually sleeps ...
