Pockets of good and bad service made the cruise average or less.
Good to excellent were the stateroom attendant, bar tenders, casino staff, Steamers upcharge venue (add the lobster and crab for $12 more), and Ray Coussins on piano! Poor were the dining rooms for spotty service and errors in billing drinks; at least the food was good... Also the Ocean Medallion system did not work well except ...

I've been to 7 cruises and this was my first with Princess. This was by far the best. Service was impeccable. Fast service in the main dining room unlike other cruises I've been too. The cabin steward was always there with a smile making sure that all was perfect. The entertainment was top notch. The show Bravo was excellent, real Broadway quality.

Never have we cruised with Princess before, and believe me we will never cruise with them again. We had the understanding that this ship had very recently been refurbished. Once in board, we saw little evidence of this. The ship is very OLD AND TIRED.

I enjoy the Club Class amenities. The Mini-Suites are centrally located on the ship. The Club Class Dining is exceptional. Quieter area. Nice linens. Excellent attention from wait staff. Extra menu items are always a nice added choice.

Good, but not stellar for our first large ship cruise. While we were impressed with friendliness of the staff, general professionalism it had shortcomings in terms of a party boat and lacking the expected amenities and relaxing ambience for adults.

Caribbean Princess is a lovely and clean ship. Embarkation went quickly and smoothly with the new medallions. We enjoyed the shore excursions, a private beach in Roatan and Mayan Ruins in Belize City. The staff was pleasant. Loved the itinerary on this cruise - Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize, Cozumel. The ship has been refurbished and is very nice. Splurge for dinner at the Crown Grill, it's well worth it!
