Good cruise with some exceptions
"Other dining rooms with no lines refused us entry; one dining room refused us entry even after Guest Services requested that they seat us.The delay on the first night was directly related to the late arrival of the ship that morning, but no effort was made to rejigger the schedule to avoid crowding...."Read More

Bought wi-fi on ship, was decent and easy to switch between devices. DID the Cruise Critic Meet & Mingle, Cruise director an a lot of the officers were there. Thanks Barb ...

This was a spur of the moment decision to take this So. Fl to Quebec Cruise up the entire Eastern US Coast and over all our experience was very, very positive. I was very surprised when I learned that the ship had over 3,000 passengers because it certainly rarely felt that way. We decided to eat all 3 of our meals at the Buffet which enabled me and the wife to get exactly what we wanted since we ...

We booked this cruise to pick up a couple of ports we had not previously visited, including Norfolk, Virginia, and Newport, Rhode Island. The cruise was smooth, although there was a slight vibration in some parts of the ship, including in our cabin. Not enough of a vibration to bother us. Issues: 1. The ship was late in arriving at Ft. Lauderdale (high winds in the DR, the previous ...

Great Itinerary- a few hiccups

First cruise on Princess, normally cruise on Norwegian. Princess had good food (steak and lobster one night), serve smaller portions so you can try more things and the comedians on board were really good. Live shows tended to be geared to an older crowd. Ship itself was good and easy to navigate except for which way to go below deck (Norwegian has fish on the carpet swimming towards the front). ...

This was our first Princess cruise after 18 on various other lines. The itinerary, 13 days from Fort Lauderdale to Quebec City was excellent. Quebec City is a must see. Only two sea days. The positives and negatives to us are below: Positives The crew was truly awesome! Service was very good. I liked the living area of the stateroom and particularly the large closet for a lengthy ...

We are currently traveling with a family of 3 in this cabin on 13 day FLL- Quebec. Firstly, I have to say the WIFI is outstanding. Best ever at sea. The cabin is large and sofa bed is in a separate sitting area. Sofa bed is hard but comfortable. Large balcony, just above bridge and below the forward ship's viewing deck on floor 15 so not private from sunrise to sunset. The doors are ...

Chose because of the itinerary. Tours were below par - was shocked - Princess, generally, does everything well. A dearly wanted tour cancelled just before embarkation. Had to choose something that was "left over". Not an especially interesting tour - but the tour guide WAS exceptional. Chose to stay on the ship at some ports or disembark for a few hours. Dissatisfied, on arrival, with with ...

An honest cruise

I have chose this cruise for two reasons: first, the cruise ends in Quebec city, my hometown, second, I wished to try a princess cruise. Usually, I cruise on Royal Caribbean, Cunard, Celebrity and Norwegian and when I analyze and compare this cruise, it is always with the cruises I have done on these other cruise companies. In general, it was a good and honest cruise. This means that everything ...

Great cruise

First I must compliment the Princess transfer from the airport in Fort Lauderdale to the Embassy Suites. Our flight was 3 hours late and the Princess rep was still at the airport to meet us at 10:30 pm! Embassy Suites was good. Hasn't changed much since I was there 5 years ago. Embarkation day was horrible. Left the hotel on time and waited over 2 hours to get onboard in an extremely ...

Disappointing, sliding glass door shattered and they still have not sent our refundable OBC of $313!

We thought the itinerary would be a great summer escape from the heat and it was! Except for two hours it took to get onboard and the sliding glass door being shattered on our mini-suite balcony. They wrapped it in a heavy duty cling wrap and were able to move us the following day to a cabin down the hall. Evidently the guest in that cabin missed the boat since the ship was at capacity. The reason ...
