The Getaway is a brand new ship and NCL are having teething problems.  The ships design centres around the activities on deck 15 with the kids splash academy, ropes course, rock climbing wall etc.  When kids are in school and most cruiser are adults the ship does not work.  There are very few large bars for the usual activities trivia,karaoke, bingo etc plastic Ikea chairs in the atrium do not ...

Just got off the Norwegian Getaway! Sailed with hubby, just the two of us, and left our kids home for the first time in a long time! Overall, the ship is very nice...The good points: new, clean , beautiful restaurants, the Waterfront, great bar staff, O'Sheehans Neighborhood a Bar and Grill.
