Not the great remodel I had imagined.

The service on the Navigator was excellent. Most of the issues we ran into were due to the age of the ship and overall cleanliness or lack of. When we entered our cabin the overwhelming smell of urine made us both gag. We spoke to our stateroom attendent who wsa fantastic and she said she would recleant he bathroom. We told her it wasnt the bathroom...the bathroom smelt better than the rest of ...

RCCL is becoming mediocre.

I happen to love this class of ship with RCCL. The shopping promenade is a nice stroll when you feel like taking a walk, I love the ice shows and the theatre layout. Cabins are normal RCCL layouts. ...nothing fancy, but okay. The ship itself could use refurbishment...carpets in hallways are very " tired" looking. There was frequently a sewer odor on the 8th floor in the hallways. Did not permeate ...

Traveling as a couple, have been on 9 cruises with Royal Caribbean. Embarkation was surprisingly easy. We arrived @ 10:30 am and breezed right through security. The check in line was reasonable and we only had a short time in the waiting area before getting on the ship around 11:30 ish. Headed for windjammer and had no problem finding good seats. We enjoyed the activities - especially the ...

Fabulous 1st Cruise Experience!

It was a wonderful bonding time for my 19 yr-old daughter and me. Knowing that we will spend most of our time outside our cabin, we chose an inner stateroom (8237) which served us just fine. Our attendant (Adela Benliss-Nicaragua) was the sweetest and took good care of our needs. We took advantage of a lot of the activities offered in the ship: aerobics, jogging deck, hot tub, treadmill, ...

Some Good, Much Bad

First, the good. Food, service, and shows were all excellent. I reserve the "bad" for the ship and for Royal Caribbean itself. While we are not heavily experienced cruisers, this was our third cruise and this ship is substandard compared to the older and smaller Serenade of the Seas and Celebrity Century. Why substandard? Let me name the ways. First, I was really, really irked by the ...

Christmas Cruise

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We left from Fort Lauderdale and stopped in Haiti, Puerto Rico, St. Kitt's and St. Maarten. We travelled with my boyfriend's family (there were 6 of us total). My boyfriend and I had travelled on the Allure of the Seas two years before this cruise experience and absolutely LOVED it. You can't even compare the Allure with the Navigator, not even just in ...

Our cruise party consisted of Mom, Dad and 3 sons ages 12, 15, and 18. This was Mom and Dad's 8th cruise (3 on Celebrity and 5 on RCCL) and the sons 3rd cruise. The boys previous cruises and our most recent 2 had been on the Freedom of the Seas sailing out of Port Canaveral (Eastern and Western). The only thing that keeps our cruise from being rated excellent is the embarking at Port ...

My wife and I and our son and daughter (19 & 21) went on a 6 day Christmas Cruise and had a great time! The ship is beautiful and the crew is excellent. Our cabins were inside on deck 8 and overlooked the Promenade. They were also adjoining which was very handy. We loved the location. Deck 8 is the highest Promenade view you can get and we were at the front of the Promenade (almost dead center of ...

This was our second time cruising with Royal Caribbean, last time was on the Mariner of the Seas a few years back. Our most recent cruise was with Princes Cruises, so there were the inevitable comparisons here and there. Overall it was a great vacation because, we made it so and decided to try to overlook many things during the cruise itself. First off, the cabin was not as clean as it could ...

I went on Navigator of the Seas December 12 from Fort Lauderdale and sailed for the next 8 nights. I enjoyed having the extra night and day and have previously gone on a 7 day/night cruise. This is my second RCI cruise and I have gone on Majesty's weekend cruise in the past. It was not easy getting on the ship. It took a very long time to navigate the long line that took perhaps over 2 hours ...
