Terrible Food - poor service - Dodgy shore excursion sales practices

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Odyssey of the Seas

With the “Quantum of the seas” fresh in my mind from a couple of weeks earlier, and being seriously disappointed with the comfort of the room and quality of the food on the Quantum, I decided, against my better judgement, to jump at a reasonable price for a ‘Single Balcony Stateroom’ for the two-week crossing on the Odyssey – transatlantic FORT LAUDERDALE to Rome. My general thinking was that ...

First TA, right fare for an aft facing cabin on deck 8. Paid for HIA since no longer can bring on drinks. I did not get what I paid for. Changes were made to inclusions after I paid.wifi issues- no compensation, excursion cancelled- no appropriate substitution I was advised by shore excursion staff- so forfeited $120 OBC- would not let me use it for anything else and non refundable. Could not ...

Oosterdam should be renamed Nickel and Dime

We just got off the ship after a 3 week transatlantic cruise from Ft Lauderdale to Barcelona. The Oosterdam is becoming quite dilapidated. We encountered many serious infrastructure issues. Firstly, there were many leaks that marred our cruising experience. The Lido dining room had water soaked carpeting that passengers were forced to walk on to get to the seating area. We also ...

We booked our World Cruise while on Antartica cruise 2020 on the Coral Princess. We had such a good time we decided to book the World Cruise 2021. The cruise was pushed to 2023 due to covid. Island Princess was rusty from the day we boarded Jan05. The entire ship was rusty. The sea witch logo was crying rust tears. The menu in the dining for 111 days never changed. We never had a hot meal. The ...

Getting away on what we thought would be a restful and peaceful cruise across the Atlantic was anything but that, and we will never sail with Cunard again. Entering the terminal and boarding the ship was about the only positive part, although as we masked up from that first minute we wondered about Covid on the ship. Turns out we should have wondered as the ship was ripe with Covid ...

Because it’s new and whatever written about it But it’s a lye , first port was canceled we understand the situation but there should be some compensation , it was a waste of time to go on this ship , the entertainment program is very bad almost everyone we met on this ship is unhappy and devastated , the shops are very expensive , no regular shops for the important items needed , and all shops ...

Princess does not care about Health and Safety of clients

We chose because, although this would be my first cruise. the other three people had previous good experiences with Princess. However, all four of us will NEVER sail with Princess again. From booking on there were problems. We were misled on the use of on board credits; our free premium drink package was not honored until we proved it was legit; food was lukewarm on the buffets while the ...

We were looking for an alternative to cross the Atlantic other than by plane to avoid the jetlag. As this sailing fit in our time schedule we booked a cruise on Costa Deliziosa leaving Ft. Lauderdale March 03. -To begin with the ship: Costa Deliziosa is an eldery lady in need of a thorough make-over. The entire interior decor and design was retro. - Our cabin, which was a so-called Samsara ...

Extremely poor customer service. purchased the upgraded drink package and told several times we did not have drinks covered. drinks were horrible. ran out of beer on the second day of the cruise and no one knew when they would replenish the supply. rooms were dated and hallways smelled of sewage. clearly a problem as they were replacing the carpet on our floor mid cruise. food was horrible ...

We just came back from a 37 day cruise (Western Caribbean and Transatlantic) with the Costa Deliziosa, starting on february 21. It was our 25th cruise and the 6th or 7th time with Costa and absolutely the very last one with Costa!! Positive points 1) The service in the bars. The waiters take your order electronically and we had our drinks always within 5 minutes. 2) The system of hosts ...
