Great time for my family of 4. Wasn't thrilled to have to travel during busy President's week because there really were more people on board than usual...Spent the 1st two days acclimating myself to this massive ship and felt very overwhelmed. But after the 2nd day, I was more relaxed. Food was excellent and the entertainment was stellar. The aqua show was indescribably amazing! The RC app was ...
My mom is a travel agent so I have been cruising since I was about 10. In that time I've been on four Princess, one Celebrity, and three Royal Caribbean. The Harmony of the Seas takes the cake. I was nervous that a ship that holds 5500 people would be crowded, but I can tell you at no point did I feel overwhelmed or crowded. The ship is designed to feel open. Four pools, over eight hot tubs, a ...
This was our first cruise, with two girls (9 and 12) and my inlaws. We picked the ship/cruise based on timing, ports of call, and activities the kids would enjoy. My inlaws have been on probably 20 cruises, but this was their first on a ship of this size, and they were a little nervous.
Overall, everything is incredibly efficient- embarkation and debarkation especially (it was faster than ...
This ship is only 2.5 years old and we noticed black blue (oil type) smoke coming from one of the smoke stacks when we were leaving the Port Everglades. We thought that maybe this was just something like a car starting in the morning and puffs of smoke emit from the exhaust, and let it go. However, this smoke continued throughout the cruise and was especially bad at night and in the early morning ...
We chose this ship and cruise to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with all our children and grandchildren over 6 years old. The ship did not disappoint. The kids (and adults too) enjoyed the water slides, the Giant Abyss, climbing walls, surfing sites, ice skating, food and more. Although the ship is huge, over 5200 passengers, we never felt that we were waiting in line for much of ...
We choose this cruise because we wanted something other than Disney for our 6 and 8 year olds children. The positives were it’s family friendly; the children had fun and were entertained (rarely if ever bored); they liked the kids club; we liked the room and room steward, embarking and debarking with self assist was easy; and the shows were great.
What we didn’t like were the crowds. With no ...
We loved the entertainment on this ship...play, aqua show, ice skating, comedians, parades and more. The cabins were clean and had lots of storage. Our canbin steward was the most unfriendly we’ve ever had. She must have take her cue from the officers and much of the rest of the crew who never smiles or greeted the passengers. Everything and everyone was treated businesslike. We realized that this ...
We are relatively experienced cruisers who have sailed on several different lines (Princess, Celebrity, etc) of similar quality. We had previously sailed on the "Allure Of The Seas" so we were familiar with the layout and features of this ship.
Things we liked:
- Great Fine Line shows in the Aqua theatre and by the ice skating performers
- General Solarium area experience, including the ...
Arrived in Ft. Lauderdale the night before the cruise. Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Pompano Beach. I was too lazy to walk to get 2 bottles of wine, nearest supermarket was about a mile away. Small but cozy gym, nice free breakfast.
Embarkation was smooth, granted in wasn't 10 quick minutes like some say but it was efficient. The long line moved fast and we were on the ship maybe 20 minutes ...
I just got back from a cruise with 56 people on the Harmony and it was awesome.
We planned this trip for 889 days, read a ton of reviews, and tried to plan everything we could to maximize our time. The trip was great and we weren't able to do everything on the ship.
Everybody in our group found their favorite things to do, places to chills, activities to win and bars to grab a drink at. ...
