The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Excellent time on Enchantment

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

This was our 8th cruise, all with RCCL.   Last 6 have been on Voyager class or Freedom class ships and we've had balcony each time.   Due to circumstances this cruse was shorter, on a smaller ship and we had an inside cabin.   The ship - we liked Enchantment very much.  Room:Room was OK-  we were in the expanded area of the ship and had a shower with a real door, not a curtain.   This was our ...

The original plan was to drive from West Palm Beach to Saint Augustine for a long weekend. But several folks advised against it, saying that Saint Augustine was great for a day; maybe two, but not worth a whole long weekend. So then we started looking at last minute "cheap flights" to a fun city...perhaps New York? New Orleans? Somewhere in the search, a cruise popped and we said, "Why not?" We ...

While this was not my first cruise, it was my first in almost 10 years.  On my first cruise, I was a little gunshy because at the end of it, I felt like I had been sold a bill of goods.  So I tried to be a little more informed and do more research before I booked, but because I booked at the last minute, I missed some important points.  Hence my feeling of de ja vu.When I booked the Royal ...

My husband and I recently sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas, the four-night route out of Ft Lauderdale to Key West and Cozumel. This being our seventh Royal Caribbean cruise in two years, we were not disappointed with the cruise, service, and food. This was our first time to leave out of Port Everglades. We were a little disappointed in the port. The parking garage was confusing and ...

Enchantment of the Seas - Western Caribbean

My boyfriend and I booked this cruise because it was reasonably priced for a last minuted getaway and because RCCL was a cruise line I was interested in learning more about. As people who have cruised over 35 times combined my overall advise would be "expect the bare minimum, then you will be pleasantly surprised". Cabin: Good. As an older ship I think the cabin was in good condition. ...

I have always been afraid to go on a cruise. My husband gets motion sickness easy, I always pictured titanic in my head and thought it be boring and to much being confined in one place. Our friends had been wanting us to go for awhile. My husband really wanted to go and my friends said it be a great time. so i thought okay, we will take a short one, 4 nights and see how it goes. I got lots of sea ...

The first time I heard we were going to go on a cruise, I was scared because of the Titanic. However, I realized that was a long time ago and they did not have the technology that we do today. After found out that they have unlimited food, I looked forward to it. In addition, I found out they have pools, a library, and entertainment. Doesn't that sound good? So now that you had an overview of ...

With all critiques I shall attempt to shed the positive and negative features of this cruise with the reader.  First let me share that I have only sailed once before with Carnival in 2007 and this trip too was as a single parent with my four boys.  Let me also share that I work in Finance and maintaining a constant vigile on our travel account does tend to sometimes get in the way of me totally ...

An Enchanting Cruise!

Arrival: There cannot be any more easy port than Fort Lauderdale in which to pick up a ship after flying in.  The airport is easy to navigate, pick up your bags, and get cheap, quick transportation to the pier.  The trip takes 10 minutes.  We paid $22 flat for 2 people and 3 bags and traveled in a Lincoln Town Car.  After drop off, it took only 20 minutes to check in with Royal Caribbean and get ...

My girlfriend and I (both 21) just returned a few weeks ago from our five night Western Carribean cruise with ports of call in Key West, Cozumel, and Belize City. This was my fourth cruise and my girlfriend's third, but our best yet. This was our first trip together so it was certainly different from those in the past, but everything was absolutely perfect! The ship is one of the smaller megaships, ...
