Princess, what happened? I’ve been on close to 40 cruises, including over 100 days with princess, and this was by far the worst cruise I’ve ever taken. When I go on a cruise, I choose the itinerary, the food, and entertainment as reasons to cruise. Halfway through this trip to Panama Canal, I have been let down so much that for the first time, I am actually posting how disappointed I am on a ...
Embarkation was confusing but prompt. (The ship was full.) The crowd was almost all over 55. I think we saw 8 kids - all under 6. Our bags were in our room quickly. The online safety checkin was quick.
Our room was more spacious that I expected. The shower was nice sized. The balcony easily accommodated the two of us. Adequate drawer and closet space.
Getting power to our CPAPs was ...
My wife & I have been cruising since the very early 1970s (M/S Boheme was first) .. we have done 40 or so on Carnival but left when it became so droopy pants and rotten loud music. Transitioned to 32 or so on Princess but were saddened to see our Elite category being diluted with the loss of complimentary benefits we had enjoyed in that category. Transitioned to Celebrity. Cruising has been very ...
We had been on 15 cruises with Royal Caribbean and decided to give Celebrity a try. We were expecting it to be a step up and it was, but not in all areas.
We knew the Equinox was an older ship that had been refurbished, so that was no surprise. The exterior of the ship showed some age, but the interior didn't look dated. The furnishings were a bit nicer than on the Royal ships. Our cabin ...
This was our 6th cruise with Celebrity. We are in our eighties and have cruised 19 times. This was a cruise to the Dutch Islands of the Caribbean. As usual we made use of an outstanding cruise consultant with Expedia Cruises.
All the necessary information is on the Celebrity web site. The Celebrity App is really needed to avoid confusion. However, in our case, going cruising is ...
First Disney Cruise, our son is a Spider-man super fan! Disney exceeded our expectations at every level! We surprised our 32 year old son who has Down syndrome with this Marvel Character Cruise. Our first sea day was a Marvel Day at Sea, Iron Man, Spider-man, Loki, Groot… all the Marvel characters, strategically positioned all over the main decks for photo ops, some you had to pre register for, ...
This was our 6th Princess cruise. The last one we were on was one of the first after covid, 700 passengers
We has our flights arranged through ez air. We were among last to board, but we did board!
First time of rain in Ft Lauderdale, first port in Cays was cancelled so we were at sea til Wednesday. First 2 days it seemed staff was discombobulated. Food was ok but nothing special. We ...
This was a family trip that I was told I would attend. I only ever went on a cruise one other time(carnival) really didn't like that one as I felt it was for much younger folks than myself. This cruise was a little different. I liked most of the shows and on board entertainment. The food was ok, only used the buffet so rarely had actually hot food. The cabin I was in was pretty small. It was okay ...
This was our 4th Princess cruise and we really wanted to see the Panama Canal. The Ruby was a good choice, not too big. We know that it will always be a struggle to get a pool deck lounge chair or a table on the pool deck. The deck above the pool usually had lounge chairs available. The Panama Canal passengers were mostly over 50, many with walkers or scooters.
This time we chose a mini-suite ...
We have only sailed with Celebrity Cruises (6 in the last 10 years). It’s sad to see that post-Covid, despite investing in refurbishing their ships, they’ve taken away some of the things that made it a 5-star experience.
No longer are you greeted with champagne or a mimosa on entry. In AquaClass rooms, no more daily tea, fruit or canapés. I’m told that’s for concierge class now but AquaClass ...
